Grandparents’ Club Meeting is October 20

All grandparents of St. George Place are invited! Please join us at 6:00 pm at the Library. Stay connected with what your grandchild is doing at school. Make friends with other grandparents and much more.

Spirit Night this month! Look for more information this month with details on our Spirit Night. This is a fabulous opportunity for the school community to get together for lunch or dinner and a portion of the proceeds go back to school! Invite school friends to join you!

Book Fair Coin-A-Day-Challenge What Coin a Day Challenge is:

Coin A Day Challenge - is a simple way to raise funds before our Book Fair to purchase much needed books for our school. Collect loose change and dollar bills during Oct. 24-28 to buy books to help teachers build and refresh classrooms libraries.

Birthday Booster Celebrate your child’s birthday at school by purchasing the Birthday Booster. We will post “Happy Birthday” and your child’s name on the outdoor school signs. Complete the Birthday Booster form in the Dragon Store or go to www.sgppto.com and click on Fundraising/Birthday Booster and pay online (a $1.50 fee applies). $25 - Your child’s birthday is recognized on the outdoor sign, in the school morning announcements and with a special goody bag!

REQUEST THE BIRTHDAY BOOSTER AT LEAST TWO BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE YOUR CHILD’S BIRTHDAY!

Book Character Parade! Dress as your favorite character from a book! Parents are invited to view the parade that will begin at 8 am at the school.

Our PTO goals include:

• Supporting the school through volunteer and financial assistance.

• Building community through events at and away from the school.

• Fostering communication about the learning process between parents/guardians & faculty.

• Helping to meet the needs of students through cooperation between family and school.

All parents, teachers and staff are encouraged to become an active part of the School at St George Place family. There are many opportunities to volunteer, whatever your talents, interests, or time constraints may be…ask us to find out what works for you!
