Hey Guys, As we all know the UK and most of the world are on lockdown because of the virus. Many of you are making the sacrifice staying inside which is a big disruption for you and staying safe in these uncertain times. At times like this looking at things that are certain is the best solution. One thing that is certain is that you are not alone. Your staff are here by your side and even if we at the office cant see you we are still here and we will see each other again once this is all over. In the mean time there are some good ideas going round to pass the time and to stay social an example be- ing arranging an online bingo session between hous- es. That might be a good idea for those who liked to go to bingo as an activity. If this is something that interests you try raising it with staff and we can try and get it off the ground. Any suggestions are welcome as always! Salford HUB Team Spring 2019 Here's a few words of wisdom from Jane during these uncertain times: Hi Everyone, Hope you are keeping well, I am sure your staff have explained the situation at the mo- ment and why we have had to make so many changes to our lives and our normal daily activities. I am so proud of the way each one of you have coped and your staff have been sending me pictures of the amazing things you have been doing. I am sure, like me you are really grateful for the support of your staff team, they have continued to come to work during these times, because they really care about you. When we clap the NHS each Thursday, we are also clapping for our wonderful support workers, to say a BIG thank you. Things will get back to normal if we are patient, then we will have a big summer party. Keep busy and stay safe. Jane x

Spring 2019

Here's a few words of wisdom from Jane during these uncertain times:

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are keeping well, I am sure your staff have explained the situation at the mo-ment and why we have had to make so many changes to our lives and our normal daily activities.

As most of you are aware we lost a good friend before the lockdown in Ken Newn. He was very much loved by all of his friends and family and our hearts go out to them and the staff team. Below is a poem said at his funeral composed by one of the team at Pennine, Sue Gilmore. This is great way of remembering a great man

and close friend to all.

You’re love of life, DVD’s and Music

Social Life family & friends

You never complained of Your Illness & a

Good quality of life till the end

We had good days & Bad days laughter & tears

In temper you’d shout “Why Me!” so we’d

Have a chat to cheer you up & ring your family

You had good banter with all your staff

Loved to argue & chat

But when you couldn’t win the debate

You’d shout “whose fault is that!”

Peacefully, Pain free, Surrounded by Your

Loved ones. Your life sadly came to an end

You’ve touched the hearts of so many we truly lost a great friend.

R.I.P

Our hearts go out to the Friends and Family of Richard Payne who has recently passed. His Presence will be missed by the team at Swinton Hall Road and they will never forget all the good times had with such a lovely man. As a fitting tribute Here some dinosaurs and some information about them.

Tyrannosaurs Rex

Commonly Known as T-Rex

Had a lifespan of 30 years

Tyrannosaurus is from the Greek word meaning Tyrant Lizard.

Its arms were too short to reach its mouth.

Triceratops

Triceratops means three-horned-face in Greek.

Their length was up to 9 meters (30 feet)

They weighed 5 tons (about as much as a truck!).

Triceratops were herbivores

Rest In Peace Richard you will be missed
