2019Spring Instructional
Soccer ProgramRegistration for BYSA’s popular Spring Instructional Program opens on February 15, 2019. This program is designed to introduce and expand our children’s knowledge of the skills and fundamentals associated with soccer through exciting lesson drills and situational scrimmages. Children will be placed on permanent teams based on gender and age.
Who Can Sign Up?Participants must be residents of Bridgewater and born on or before 8/31/2015 and up to including those currently in 6th grade.
What’s the Schedule?The season will begin on April 22 and continue for five weeks endingon May 22.
Girls: will play Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:00 pmBoys: will play Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 pmNOTE: Wednesday May 29 is the makeup date scheduled for any rain day cancellations.
What’s the Cost?The cost of the program is $80 (or $60 for early bird registration now through April 1, 2019) per child with a multiple child discount of $10.00 for each additional child after the first registration. The deadline for all registrations will be April 8, 2019 at 11:59 pm.
How Can I Register?Early Bird Registration is open from February 15 – April 1, 2019 at www.bridgewateryouthsoccer.com. Log into your account clicking on “Login” or if you do not have one, you may create an account at “Register”. Contact either Matt Bernard or Mike Cahill with any questions about registration. Contact information is in the sidebar.
We Need You!We rely exclusively on parents and volunteers to become coaches. Without coaches, we cannot continue to offer our programs to the children of Bridgewater. In the event we do not have enough coaches, we will have to create larger teams with less instruction for players. We are reaching out to partner with a club to help guide these sessions so volunteers will have support. To ensure your child has the opportunity to participate in this program, please consider becoming involved as a coach or assistant coach. You can sign up as a coach online when you register your child.
