*The Fair Board has voted to allow the Dairy Cattle to be shown this year.However, they are not eligible for the Premium Sale. The allowance of thisdivision for the 2019 Spring Show will be revisited after this show regarding the2020 year.

2019 Rules of Show
1. The Show is open to 4-H and FFA membersattending Public, Private, or Home School inBeckham County.
2. Beckham County Fair Board will followparticipant age requirements as laid out by staterules. 4-Hers Can be 8 yrs old and in 3rd gradeby Sept.1st or age 9 yrs. old by Jan. 1st ofcurrent 4-H calendar year, and cannot be morethan 19 years old.
3. The Show will comply with state catalogrules, unless otherwise stated.
4. One exhibitor may show 4 steers (2 market and2 prospect), 2 beef heifers, 3 market lambs, 3ewe lambs, 3 barrows, 3 gilts, 3 meat goats and3 does and they do not have to be the samebreed.
5. All steers, market lambs & barrows &commercial females must be weighed on Sundayat check-in time. The same animal and/orexhibitor cannot cross county lines to participatein more than one county stock show.
6. All Market Steers, Lambs and Goats must benominated for Oklahoma City to be eligible forthe Beckham County Livestock Show and tomake the Premium Auction
7. For animals to be eligible for the premium sale,they must meet the following ownershiprequirements: Steers – 120 days, Barrow &Market Lambs – 90 days.
8. Registration papers for heifers, purebred gilts,and ewe lambs entered in the breeding classeswill be checked during the time of weighingmarket animals. Papers aren’t required forbarrows. Weight restrictions for Commercialgilts will remain as is.
9. To compete in purebred classes, females musthave registration papers recorded in the name ofthe exhibitor for at least 60 days prior to show.
10. Two entry cards must be completed on eachanimal.
11. Commercial Females will be allowed to makethe Premium Auction, effective 2004 SpringLivestock Show.
12. NO FEMALE CHAMPION IS GUARANTEED A PLACE IN THE SALE.
13. No hair coloring will be allowed in groomingany animal exhibited.
14. Any Heifer that makes the Premium Sale iseligible for a second Premium Sale thefollowing year.
15. Ewes cannot be shown as Market Lambs.
16. The sheep will be released after completion ofsheep show.
17. Both cattle and hogs will be released afterselection of sale order.
18. No animal selected for Auction mayb e removed from the barn during thePremium Auction. All load-outs mustwait for t h e Auction to end. PLEASE BERESPECTFUL OF OTHERS.
19. There will be no premiums handed out thenight of auction.
20. Protests: You must put up a $50 depositbefore your protest will be heard. After thehearing, if the protestor’s case is won, the $50is returned, otherwise it will be forfeited.

Beef Cattle
Heifers To be shown, Heifers must be born after January 1, 2017.
Classes will be divided at check in.
• ALL Breed heifers MUST have registration papers issued by the breed’s respective association in the exhibitors name on or before January 20, 2019, before the beginning of the show. Also, each animal must be in the possession of and in the continual care of the exhibitor for a minimum of 60 days before the start of the show.
• All commercial heifers and those without qualifying registration papers as stated above; will be shown by weight.
• Heifer class breaks will not exceed 60 days difference in age and will be as follows: Jan-Feb; Mar-Apr; May-Jun; Jul-Aug; Sept-Oct; Nov-Dec. Exceptions for maximum class size at Beef Superintendent’s discretion.

Premium Auction Rules
The sale order will bedetermined by the judgefollowing the selection of swineand cattle champions onMonday and sheep and goatchampions on Tuesday.
The judge will pick the best of: 10 Heifers, 8 Steers, 15 Gilts, 33 Barrows, 14 Wethers, 10 Ewe Lambs, 10 Does and 6 Wether Goats to parade for premiums. The judge will pick alternates for each of the market & breeding stock species as needed.
An exhibitor may parade only 1animal for premium.
After each premium animal issold, anyone may add a bonusto the animal in any amountdesired at any time.
No animal is allowed to leavethe barns BEFORE the lastanimal exits the ring at theconclusion of the premiumauction.
Champion of the breed inmarket classes will be in thesale, unless the breed championsteer weighs less than 900pounds.
Sale order will be GrandChampions and Reserve GrandChampions first, thenalternating animals will sell asfollows:
