Kansas City

Rose Show . . .

Saturday, June 1

Loose Park Garden Center

Anyone who grows roses can

enter the rose show. Choose

your most beautiful blooms when

they are about half to three-

fourths open and on the longest

stem with nice leaves. Be sure

you know the rose’s name.

(Peace? Pink Knockout? Don

Juan?)

Bring your roses to the Loose

Park Garden Center between

8:30 a.m. and noon on Saturday

morning, and we’ll help you get

them groomed and show-ready.

Never won a blue ribbon? Enter

in the Novice Class!

If it’s not your first show, just

bring your roses. We have

classes for all varieties of garden

roses and also a class for rose

photographs. You could win

ribbons and even a silver trophy!

Visit the website to download the

rose show booklet and see the

rose classes and show

guidelines.

also display local students’ rose
