Ígló Kids & Baby is a creative and colorful fashion label for newborn to 12 years. The Ígló clothing is comfortable and modern with ingenious details such as ruffl es, bows, elbow patches, tulle and prints. Every piece is made of soft and cozy cotton fabric, selected meticulously for quality and comfort. The Ígló collection is broken down into two age groups, Ígló Baby for newborns to 18 months & Ígló Kids for boys & girls from 2 -12 years.

Ígló is designed to wear & create all day!

Icelandic childrenswear label Ígló Kids & Baby was offi cially launched in August 2009. In September last year Ígló Kids & Baby opened a Flagship Store at Reykjavik’s main shopping street, Laugavegur 39. The Ígló Kids collection fi nally got a cute little universe! The store also sells unique handmade crafts: Bunny’s from Skálatún, (a workplace for people with intellectual disabilities), dolls by Karitas, (Ígló graphic designer), baby blankets from Sól í Tógo, (a Togo charity organization), and unique wool knitted hats by Helga Ólafs, (Ígló head designer), her daughter and mother.

Inspired by the beach lifestyle

“I spent a month working and vacationing with my family surrounded by the Pacifi c Ocean, mountains and desert. The

location was Hermosa Beach in Los Angeles with a short visit to Palm Springs, a picture perfect town in the middle of the

Coachella desert. Riding along the beach everyday on two wheels, I was in awe of the colorful beach life and all the beautiful

fl ora & fauna living in the dry soil yet so rich in color.

With so much inspiration collected from my stay I created a wonderful Spring-Summer collection. I play with preppy details

on comfortable cotton clothing containing fl ower prints, plaids, dots and nautical stripes mixed with solid colors.

Think California cool, a straw hat and an ice cold lemonade. The Spring-Summer collection is full of happiness and magical

attraction.”

Florence Helga Thibault called Flo is half Icelandic and half French. For years she has been illustrating beautiful books for young Icelanders.We fell in love with her books and are proud of our collaboration where we transfered Flo´s very sweet and colorful illustrations of a Bambi, Owl and a Cake to our Spring-Summer collection. We love the result and hope you agree with us!
