back, a lot: “What is your favorite?”

This is not an easy question. It depends on

so many things what I’m doing, what I’m

wearing, what mood I’m in that I really

can’t say I have just one favorite pair.

I will say, though, that I personally test-

drive every women’s collection we’ve

ever offered and I do love them all.

Get moving with Dansko full-foot support

One of my favorite organizations we partner with here at Dansko is the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF).

The CBF’s goal is to protect Chesapeake Bay and all that lives in it. This includes the oyster population which has significantly decreased and is vital to the ecosystem. Every year a team of Dansko employees carpools down to the bay and helps CBF build oyster balls which are used to create baby oyster habitats.

Once the babies attach, the balls are dropped onto the floor of the bay where the babies grow to adulthood forming reefs and providing habitat for a wide range of marine plants and animals. In addition, the oysters filter the water by feeding on microscopic plants which improves the quality and clarity of the Bay.
