The location of premises, buildings, operations and the land use must not affect hygiene & food safety.
Any measures established to maintain a suitable external environment should be monitored and reviewed.
The premises and operations on site should be approved by the relevant authority.

12.5 Storage and Transport
TransportRefrigerated units must maintain the food at required temperatures. Settings should be set, checked and recorded before loading and product temperatures recorded during loading as appropriate.Refrigeration units must be operational at all times and appropriate checks completed at regular intervals during transit.
UnloadingPrior to unloading, a refrigeration unit’s storage temperature settings and operating temperature must be checked and recorded. Unloading should be completed efficiently and product temperatures recorded at the start, end and appropriate intervals of unloading.Unloading practices and conditions must minimize exposure of the product to conditions detrimental to product and package integrity.
