III. Students Progression

513 students are undergoing Industrial Exposure Training and ten students undergone

their training in Dubai.

Students were trained in BSE, RBI, Cochin Port trust, Karnataka Sandals, FACT, BHEL,

Vishnu Forge, ITI Ltd, Water melon ltd, Dr.Reddys Ltd, Ashok Leyland, MRF, Arvind

Tech, Sugarcane institute, Bio-research Institute and Industrial estate in Kerala

BBA CA students are undergone training with BEC (British English Council) and

Communication Skills development for Clayton State University.

Pre-placement training was completed for all final year UG students.

Two students Council Meetings were conducted.

Malaravan of II B. Sc (CS) „B‟ participated in the workshop on Cloud Computing jointly

organized by SKCT and IIT, Delhi on 27.07.2015.

MIB students attended Seminar at DGFT Office, Salem on 29.07.15.

1763 files were uploaded through Myklassroom.com by faculty members and students for

the purpose of academic and administration. 6946 assignments were submitted by

students, 44876 links been uploaded to facilitate the students with recent information and

comprehensive descriptions. A total of 78780 points was achieved by students. A total of

38000 points was achieved by faculty. A total of 14225 points was achieved by II

B.Sc.(CS) „A‟.

143 Google blogs are created for monitoring classroom activities and conducting tutor

ward meetings, 179 Google websites are created for maintaining faculty members profile

and department profiles and 615 through Google classrooms are created for creating

interactive and smart classrooms with various multimedia aids like Videos, Online Quiz,

PPT, survey, Case Study and animations.

Forty two Spoken tutorial classes were planned and 172 students registered their names.

119 classrooms are changed into Smart classrooms with interactive boards.

Activities based learning system is followed through Promethean Planet.
