A police spokesman said that a Tata passenger vehicle (No. JK-04- 8328) on way from Magam to Iskandarpora turned turtle at Iskandarpora, near Khag resulting in injuries to 15 passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital. Among the injured Haseena wife of Irshad Ahmad Parray of Gooripora and Mushtaq Ahmad Tantary of Wata Magam succumbed on way to the hospital. The bodies of deceased were handed over to their rela- tives for last rites. Khag Police have registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a tipper bearing (No. JK01A/5552) hit a seven year old boy Aleem Altaf Malla son of Altaf Ahmed Malla at Khan- pora Baramulla in north Kashmir resulting in his on spot death. An auto load carrier bearing (No. JK04/7023) hit and injured a pedestrian Ali Muhammad Bangroo son of Abdul Rehman at Eidgah here in old city. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. A police spokesman said that a 65-year old woman set her- self ablaze at Damhal near Achabal. She was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad (Anantnag) for treatment. Achabal Police have registered a case in this regard. JKLF leaders arrested at Kakapora Srinagar, June 21: Police on Friday arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front leaders at Kakapora while they were on their way to Puchal, Pulwama, in south Kashmir to condole the demise of four youth who were recently killed in an accident near Pahalgam. The arrestees, including Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, Muham- mad Sideeq Shah and Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, were lodged at Kakpora police station. “The leaders were scheduled to address a public rally and also express solidarity with the bereaved families of four boys,” the spokesman added. For New Delhi has forcibly taken the control of state through its military power,” the Hur- riyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar said in a statement. “Invitation extended by subjugated people would defi- nitely have an impact on the disputed nature and status of Kashmir issue and India in order to justify its control would exploit it (invitation) and the negotiations,” he said. Justifying the resolution of the Kashmir issue through international intervention the spokesman said: “The issue is a sensitive, pend- ing and recognized at inter- national level. However, the dialogue held in a third country would be much more appropriate and more benefi- cial.” “It is an established policy of Hurriyat (G) that it would in all circumstances avoid confrontation with individuals and resistant groups,” said the spokesman adding that “We do not mean to hurt anyone’s self esteem or sentiments but since the Kashmir movement has pri- ority over all interests, we have decided to put forth our stand in a dignified and cour- teous manner. Diploma in Disaster Management-2013 purely on the basis of merit, subject to the verification of their original documents/ certificates and academic merit by reference to the original marks cards.
