18. […] The veil is lifted as humans become more and more
purified, but in order to understand certain things they
need faculties they do not have yet.
The Spirits’ Book
17. […] On Earth, God does not allow
everything to be revealed to humans.
Why do people have not the same idea about the same fact ?
THE TRUE ANALYSIS of a fact depends on some items:
The fact – who suffers from the fact – the observer extras and additional factors
the time (the moment/ the era in which one lives) the location
the needs of one unknown forces
action and reaction

Concepts:
22. Matter is generally defined as: that which
has extension; that which can impress our senses;
that which is impenetrable. Are these definitions correct?
From your own point of view they are correct because you
can only talk about matters that are familiar to you.
Matter, however, also exists in states that are unfamiliar.
For example, it may be so ethereal and subtle that your
senses cannot detect it; it is matter nonetheless, even
though you do not perceive it as such.

“(...) the universal fluid represents the most
elemental state of matter; its subtlety is such that
escapes all analysis.
(...) Through gradual condensations, all solid and dense bodies
that form the base of earthly matter originate from this fluid..”
Translated from Léon Denis‘ book – No Invisível, (Ch. 20 / Portuguese)
By comparing the cosmic fluid with the concepts of physical science, we could associate it with the ether, field, space and energy. These concepts of science are limited because they are only valid in the particular context or theory in which they are mentioned. On the other hand, the concepts of physics have changed with the passing of time.
At the time of Kardec: the ether was thought as a fluid at rest. In today's physics: fluid is associated with both material substances as with gases and liquids, indicating the possibility of internal relative motion.
Universal Cosmic Fluid was the name given by Spirits to
imponderable fluid which serves as an intermediary
between spirit and matter; it allows attachment of dense
matter, has innumerable combinations, and it is the
beginning of the heavy matter.
The Spirits’ Book: 27 and 29
The matter, when invisible, is imponderable and is always under
more and more subtle forms, what we denominate fluids. As it
rarefies, it acquires new properties and a capacity of irradiation
always crescent; (…)
Translated from Léon Denis‘ book – “No Invisível” (Part 2 - Ch. XV / Portuguese)
The Matter
The discovery of radiant matter, i.e. a subtle state of matter that escapes our perception entirely,
of the hertzian waves,
and of the radioactivity of the bodies,
have demonstrated the existence of forces, of incalculable potencies and
the possibility of forms of life that
our feeble and limited senses are insufficient to perceive.
the discovery of the X rays,
Translated from Leon Denis’ book “El Mas Allá y la Supervivencia del Ser” (Parte 1 – paragraph 13 / Spanish)
As well as the world of the infinitely small
remained unknown to us before the invention of
the microscope,
Broken tip of a human hair
in the same manner, without the discoveries
of W. Crookes, Roentgen, Berthelot and Curie,
we would still be ignoring that an infinite
number of forces, of radiations, of potencies,
surround us entirely.

UCF
It is certainly one of the elements required in the composition of the universe.
Organic beings are those possessing an inner source of activity that gives them life.
The cause of the animalization of matter is its union with the vital principle.
It gives life to all beings that absorb and assimilate it.
The vital principle is the same for all organic beings, but it is modified according to each species. Vitality is in a latent state (in the UCF) whenever the vital agent is not united with a body.
Its source is in the universal fluid.
This vital principle is the motive force behind all organic bodies.
Organic beings draw the principle of life and activity from
the universal source; they absorb and assimilate it, and
restore it again to that source as soon as they cease to exist.
Organs of organic beings are
impregnated with the vital fluid, giving
activity to all parts of the body.
The amount of vital fluid may become depleted and insufficient
for maintaining life if it is not renewed by absorbing and
assimilating substances that contain it.
The amount of vital fluid is not the same in all
organic beings. It varies according to species and is
not constant in the same individual or in the
individuals of the same species.
The vital fluid may be transmitted from one
individual to another. Those who have greater
quantities of it can give it to those who have
less, and in certain cases they can bring back a
life on the verge of being extinguished.
Conclusion
Its subtlety is such that escapes all analysis;
It represents the most elemental state of matter;
It is the principle of the dense matter;
It plays an intermediary role between spirit and matter.
