About Me

I have been on the Board of Governors for around 8 years now. My 2 older children attended St Aidan’s and are now in Year 10 at Cardinal Heenan and Year 8 at Broughton Hall. My youngest son has just started at St Aidan’s in the nursery. I love reading. Some of my favourites are Harry Potter, Paper Towns and The Vampire Diaries

About Me

I am a member of the Sisters of St.Mary of Namur. I have recently retired from headship. I was headteacher of Faith Primary school, a joint Catholic Church of England primary school in the Centre of Liverpool for 10 years. I have a lot of experience in education having taught in every key stage in schools in Runcorn, Notting Hill London, Watford and Liverpool. I now work on the archdiocesan Irenaeus project, providing opportunities to develop spirituality both across the archdiocese and nationally. My interests are music and playing the guitar.

About Me

I first worked at St Aidan’s as a Learning Consultant with an education company ten years ago. I have been a governor

for about 6 years. I felt something special about St Aidan’s all those years ago and I still enjoy coming back to support

as a governor. I play guitar (badly). I sing (badly). I read poems (beautifully). I would recommend Roald Dahl’s Dirty

Beasts, it’s one of my favourites.

About Me

I am a retired school teacher of 40 years experience, teaching in 3 Catholic secondary schools; 2 in Knowsley and 1 in Liverpool. My subjects were, originally History, and since 1982, ICT. I really enjoy my ministry in St Agnes’ church where I am a minster of the Word and I assist as a Eucharistic minister. I enjoy reading, watching Everton, scuba diving and riding my motorcycle. I also sometimes go to the gym.

I am an avid reader and particularly enjoy J.R.R. Tolkein and J.K.Rowling along with Histories of the 16th

century and the Second World War.

About Me

I am a dad to 2 lovely kids, the eldest of which attends St Aidan’s, so I have a personal as well as a professional interest in seeing the school prosper. About Me

I am a teacher at the school and really love working here. I enjoy seeing children develop and becoming a better version of themselves; I get the most enjoyment from seeing the children in my class being proud of themselves and what they have learnt. I often tell them that the most important thing is to be happy and be willing to learn. Outside of school I am an avid football fan and attend every home game of my favourite football club. I enjoy running and I am currently training for a 10k run. My favourite thing to do is travel and explore new places. This is made better when I am accompanied by my wife and my dog, whom I enjoy walking every day.
