WOULD YOU LIKE TO BRING UP THE
GIFTS AT MASS?
Please consider signing-up for a Sunday Mass. There is
a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board at the back of the
church. You can sign-up as a family or as an
individual.
If you are new to the parish, WELCOME. We are so glad you are here. Please register so that we can get to
know you and to be sure you receive parish info. Registration forms are located in the gathering space or call
the parish office at 360-893-3154.
PARISH STEWARDSHIP
Every year at this time, we are
asked to think about our
stewardship of all the gifts that
God has placed in our trust. Not just how we are tak-
ing care of those gifts, but how we are sharing those
gifts with our parish and our community as well. We
are asked to consider if we are returning a proper
portion of those gifts to our Church for the Lord to
build up His Kingdom. During this coming week as
we focus on Stewardship, please reflect on how we
are called to continue to sustain our parish church
and its ministries by returning to the Lord a proper
portion of what He has given us. Equally important,
please prayerfully consider your God-given talents
and fill out your Talent/Ministry flyer. Let us know
how you can share your talents with our parish.
Please return the flyer to the parish office by mail, in
person or in the Collection Basket. Thank you!
HARVEST DINNER
Our Harvest Dinner was a huge success!
Thank you very much to Martha
Schneider, Linda Carmichael, and
Monica Rodrigues for co-chairing the
event and to the many people
who volunteered their time and
talent to make it such a fun night
for all. The spirit of Ss. Cosmas
and Damian really shined through.
Keep an eye on the bulletin for a
final tally.

ABUSE HOTLINE—
ARCHDIOCESE OF SEATTLE
To report any suspicion of abuse by any Church
personnel, please contact local law enforcement.
In addition, anyone who has knowledge of sexual
abuse or misconduct by a member of the clergy,
an employee or volunteer of the Archdiocese of
Seattle is urged to call the archdiocesan hotline
at 1-800-446-7762.
ST. ANDREW GIVING TREE IS GOING UP!
The Giving Tree is up! If you know of
anyone who needs help with a gift or
two- call MARY HOSS 253-770-9831
and she will put tags on the tree.
Parishioners can then take a tag or
two from the tree, purchase the gift
listed on the tag and then bring the
gift and tag back. There will be a basket in front
of the tree to place the gifts in.
Emmanuel Food Pantry will also be hanging tags
for $25.00 gift cards for Fred Meyer or Winco.
The cards will be given to our Low-income
Seniors in Christmas cards made by our Faith
Formation children along with a bag of candy
from the Moms Group. We would appreciate it if
many would take a tag, buy a gift card and
return it to the Giving Tree basket. By doing this,
we are helping others to have a Blessed
Christmas and to let them know they are
remembered by St. Andrew parishioners. All
Saints School will be available after Masses to sell
script - that helps the school out and you don't
have to go shopping - you can buy your card
right there!
Thank you all so very much for helping us bless
all those that need our help.
Adoration of the blessed sacrament is
the adoration of Jesus Christ present
in the Holy Eucharist. Perpetual
Adoration is when the priest takes a
consecrated host and places it in a
monstrance. The monstrance is usually
placed on the altar of the church.
You may sign up to be an "adorer" which allows
you to schedule yourself for one or more hours
each Thursday from 10:00am-6:00pm, or every
First Friday from 10:00am until 8:50am Saturday
morning, to pray before the very presence of Our
Lord, exposed in the monstrance. It means that
you can have some time alone with Jesus to
recite your favorite prayers, read the bible,
contemplate acts of faith, hope, charity,
thanksgiving, reparation, pray a rosary or do
whatever type of prayerful devotion that suits
you before Our Lord. You can just sit and say
nothing, simply keeping Him company just as
you would with a dear friend. If you would like to
schedule a time for Thursday Adoration and/or
each First Friday, please call:
