MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
"Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to
people of good will ". Lc 2,14
May God bless you and all your loved ones with
the gift of peace and joy at the birth of the Prince of Peace and
King of Kings, Jesus Christ our Savior.
"“ And the Angel said to them, don’t be afraid! I am here with good news
for you, which will bring great joy to all the people. This very day in David's
town your Savior was born- Christ the Lord! " Lc 2, 10-11
Let us invite this great news to touch our hearts, to transform our lives.
If we want peace and joy we need to make space for Christ in our hearts.
If our hearts are full of something than we have no space for Christ.
If our hearts are full of ourselves than we don't have space in our hearts for
anyone else, than no wander we don't have peace and joy.
What is it that owns our hearts? What is it that we let it own our perception of life?
Is it faith in God or is it our relationship with life on our own terms?
Is Jesus your Lord and Savior ? Did you give your life to him or did you direct it to
your own pleasure according to your own rules ?
Come Lord Jesus! Bring us your peace, bring us your joy! Please take away our hurts our sadness, heal our
wounds, forgive our sins, free us from our selfishness from our unbelief, fill our hearts
with faith and trust in you and with your loving presence in our lives.
Lord Jesus we trust in your love for us. We thank you for making our life merry by being
born among us, we thank you for giving us Christmas and giving us a reason to be merry.
Your birthday affects all people on the planet, even those who just say: Happy Holidays,
but by saying that, they refer to Christ indirectly and that is good as well.
So let us see good everywhere, and we know who is the reason for the
Holiday Season: CHRIST THE LORD.
On behalf of all parish clergy and staff I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year! May God bless you with all that you need, with good health and all prosperity
that you desire for yourself and your loved ones. May Christ's peace and
joy reign in your hearts.
I thank you all for your generosity to our parish and your kindness to all parish staff and
clergy.
Let us rejoice in Emmanuel- God is with us!
God bless you all and always!!!!!
Fr. Stan
