NOVEMBER IS THE MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS: The early November feasts of All Saints and All Souls are reminders that God's church exists both on earth and in heaven and that all the faithful, living and dead, can and should pray for each other. We don't travel through this world alone. Our salvation is wrapped up with the salvation of others, and charity requires us to come to their aid. The same is true of the Holy Souls. In their time in Purgatory, they can pray for us, and we should pray for the faithful departed that they may be freed from the punishment for their sins and enter into Heaven. (catholicnews.com)

One way to do this is to pray the prayer that our Lord gave to St. Gertrude (prayer cards are located at the ends of the pews this weekend). Her feast day is Saturday, November 15. He promised to her that every time the prayer was prayed devoutly, 1000 souls would be released from Purgatory.

“Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood of thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home, and in my family. Amen.”

DAILY ADVENT REFLECTIONS FROM FORMED.ORG We are not meant to journey alone…especially not during such a holy season of Advent. Center yourself on Christ in the storm of busyness and distractions by signing up for Advent Reflections powered by FORMED Daily. Receive daily meditation, formation, and motivation to create a space in your day and in your heart for Christ. Sign up today at formed.org/advent and tell your family and friends! ST. ANTHONY’S PARISH RETREAT We will be offering an overnight Parish Retreat, at Maryvale convent and retreat center, beginning Friday, December 6, at 6:30 PM, and concluding on Saturday, December 7, at 4:30 PM. Expect to slow down, pray to know the interior of Christ and re-focus your gaze on him. There will be Mass on Saturday morning, and spiritual direction and confession will be available over the course of the retreat. The cost will be $60 for single room lodging, as well as meals and snacks. Visit the table in St. Francis Gathering Place after Mass today to learn more and sign up! Register NOW as space is limited. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- St. Anthony’s has had unexpected expenses arise with our heating system, and we will need to make repairs to

keep it operational. The repair estimate is approximately $40,000, and we are asking parishioners to prayerfully consider a donation to help cover these expenses.

Please detach the form below, or use one of the envelopes located at the ends of the pews,

and return it in the Sunday Collection or to the Parish Office.

THANK YOU for your support!
