Formación de Fe es para toda la vida. Nuestras inscripciones para el año 2015-2016, ya están abiertas. Los documentos necesarios para registrarse son: Forma de inscripción para el año 2015-2016, debi-damente completa, Certificado de Naci-miento y Certificado de Bautismo. Para conveniencia de los padres tenemos dos se-siones, una a las 5:00 PM y otra a las 7:00 PM, todos los miércoles. Donación, $60.00 anual por alumno. Inscripción temprana, $50.00 por alumno.

Faith Formation is for life. Our enroll-ment for the year 2015-2016 is now open. Documents required for regis-tration are: Registration form for 2015-2016, completely filled out, Birth Certificate and Certificate of Baptism. Germination et croissance du règne de Dieu

June 14, 2015

Une parabole optimiste. Saint Marc est le seul évangéliste qui raconte cette parabole où s'exprime l'une des visions les plus optimistes du Royaume. Alors que les espérances juives poussent des gens à chercher des œuvres éclatantes du Messie et que tout semble conduire Jésus à sa perte, il dit à ses disciples de ne pas s'y laisser tromper: le Royaume ne peut maintenant que grandir. Le semeur est passé. Le grain est en terre. “Attendez voir!” Semble lancer Jésus à ses amis avec

assurance. La germination du grain était aussi mystérieuse à cette époque que l'est pour nous l'origine de la vie. Nous avons beau savoir qu'un grain de blé contient des milliards d'atomes formés d'un noyau autour duquel gravitent des particules de moins d'un milliardième de millimètre, à une vitesse de 297000 kilomètres à la seconde, nous ne savons toujours pas comment agencer ces atomes pour déclencher une chaîne de vie. Ce phénomène ressemble pour nous à une force cachée, imperceptible, toujours active et qui redit sans cesse: “Quelle que soit la situation, ne désespérez jamais. Entreprenez. Semez. Le Règne de Dieu en ce monde présent ne va pas vers la mort mais vers la vie et la joie de la moisson.” Jésus, en saint Marc, est décidément un optimiste. Il n'a pourtant pas réussi à convertir ses contemporains. Et si l'on en croit l'évangile de dimanche dernier, il n'a pas réussi non plus à changer sa propre famille. D'où lui vient aujourd'hui cette certitude que le Règne proposé sera le plus sage, le plus répandu, le plus durable de tous les temps? Vraiment, dans la mystérieuse croissance du Royaume, comme l'expliquait un jour le renard au Petit Prince: “l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux!” Jésus enchaîne sur une deuxième parabole: la semence jetée en terre peut être beaucoup plus petite qu'un grain de blé. C'est une semence minuscule, comme un graine de moutarde dont la petitesse est proverbiale. De ce germe presque invisible naîtra le grand arbre où se rassembleront les oiseaux du ciel. La parabole exprime les modestes débuts puis l'amplitude du Règne de Dieu et son accueil grand ouvert à toutes les nations de la terre. Souvenons-nous en plus qu'au moment où saint Marc consigne ce discours par écrit, l'Église implantée à Rome traverse d'énormes difficultés. Plus les problèmes paraissent insurmontables, plus Jésus exprime sa confiance et son optimisme face à l'avenir.

Ordinary Time Our Catholic calendar is made of seasons which are identified by specific themes. We are returning to Ordinary Time in the Liturgical calendar. Our liturgical color during ordinary time is green which represents life and hope. On the Sundays of Ordinary Time, we continue celebrating the paschal mystery of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, remembering the events as a community of faith and giving these their meaning within a biblical context. In the Gospel readings, we hear of the life and ministry of Jesus, and the call to discipleship. The readings and the sacramental life nourish us and strengthen us to deepen our baptismal commitment to go and make known the good news of the reign of God. Summer is an ideal time for us to reflect on our spiritual lives. The readings and prayers all call on us to remember that even though the great days of the Triduum, Pentecost and Easter are now past, there is so much beauty to be found in the ordinary things of our daily lives.

radas que se identifican por temas específicos. Hemos regresado al Tiempo Ordinario en nuestro calen-dario Litúrgico. Nuestro color litúrgico durante el tiempo ordinario es verde que representa la vida y esperanza.

En los Domingos de Tiempo Ordinario, seguimos celebrando el misterio pascual de la vida, muerte y resurrección de Cristo, recordando los aconte-cimientos como una comunidad de fe y dándole sentido a través de los textos bíblicos. En los Evangelios oímos hablar de la vida y el ministe-rio de Jesús y el llamado al discipulado. Las lec-turas y la vida sacramental nos alimentan y nos fortalecen para profundizar nuestro compromiso bautismal de ir y dar a conocer la buena nueva del Reino de Dios. El verano es un tiempo ideal para reflexionar so-bre nuestra vida espiritual. Las lecturas y las oraciones de la misa nos llaman a recordar que aunque hayan pasado las grandes celebraciones del Triduo Pascual, Pentecostés y tiempo de Pascua, aún hay muchas cosas bellas que pode-mos encontrar en el tiempo ordinario de nuestro diario vivir.
