The Memorial Garden on St. Catherine of Siena's campus is a
modern version of a Columbarium. It is an in ground repository into
which an urn containing cremated remains is placed for permanent
burial. The Memorial Garden will consist of 1,080 niches and will
be built in several phases.Phase I construction, consisting of 120
niches, was completed and dedicated in January 2018. Phase II
construction, consisting of 60 niches, is now completed. Nestled
behind the church, the Memorial Garden provides for the respectful
placement of cremated remains in a serene and solemn area for
prayer and meditation. With your final resting place only a short
distance from the Church, your family and friends attending Mass
will be able to visit and pay their respects often. For further

Would you like to be a night watchman with Jesus? In the Garden
of Gethsemane, the night before He died on the cross, Jesus
agonized alone because the Disciples could not keep watch with
Him for even one hour. Jesus said, “The spirit is willing but the
flesh is weak.” Can you keep watch with Jesus in the Most Holy
Sacrament of the Altar one hour a week, and be a night watchman?
The need is great.

In fact, Perpetual Adoration depends upon a sufficient amount of
night watchmen! Please let me tell you more about Perpetual
Adoration and our chapel that is open 24 hours of the day, 7 days a
week, for over 11 years now. Call me anytime, Linda Specter,
Adoration Coordinator, at 9197618705.

Join us this Lent as we take 6 weeks to prepare ourselves for the
coming of Christ! Are we ready for the King? Are our hearts ready
to accept the passion of our Lord so that we may share in his
glorious Resurrection? The six weeks leading up to Easter mark
our own 40 days in the desert with Jesus. Lent is an intense time of
prayer, fasting and almsgiving for the entire Church.

This year the Sunday gospel readings at Mass come from the
Gospels of Matthew and John. Our engagement with these gospels
creates a beautiful tapestry of prepared anticipation for the Easter
season into our hearts.

This study follows the Catholic Scripture Study format but
concentrates on the Sunday lectionary readings and incorporates
the ancient method of Lectio Divina (praying the
scriptures). Lectio Divina is a powerful way to ‘hear’ God
speaking to us personally through scripture.

The class will meet on Wednesdays beginning on February 26
th
from 6:30 8:00 PM in Room 5. Dates are 2/26, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18,
3/25, and 4/1. Study guides cost $10.00. Contact Sherry Maloney
at [email protected] to register and to order your study guide.

All are welcome to join us before every Mass, weekdays and

Saint Michael Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection

prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
