    Another Successful Year! We are truly blessed with many gifts, one of which is the resources to provide valuable minis tries at our parish as well as assistance to the needy in the broader community and around the world!

    Last month we asked you to thoughtfully con sider of the gifts that you have been given and what you can give back to the parish. To date have had 1574 parishioners respond and share their intended contributions for the upcoming year. We appreciate you sharing your intentions with us so that we may plan our future better. You will receive an acknowledgement in the mail shortly. Whether you decided to increase, de crease or keep your commitment the same, please begin giving your new amount the first week in January 2011. Thank you. Parishioners who have not yet completed a card may pick one up in the church or we will be mail ing one to you so that you may complete it at home. We ask that you return your completed card in the collection basket, via mail, or to the parish office.

    C HRISTMAS COMES BUT O NCE A YEAR

    MAKE THIS A GIVING CHRISTMAS We are once again rapidly approaching the glori-ous celebration of Christmas.We are happy to announce ourseventeenth annual Giving Treewhich will be in the Church,beginning with the 5:30 PMMass on December 4. In placeof the usual Christmas decora-tions, the Tree will be deco-rated with envelopes containingthe names of needy families in

    our community. If helping afamily this year will enrich yourChristmas, this is the perfect

    opportunity.Inside each envelope are the names of familymembers and ages of the children. You maychoose any envelope. Usually food is provided sothe family can prepare their Holiday meal, plusgifts for the family, especially the children. Dowhat feels right for your family and experiencethe joy of a truly Giving Christmas.Please contact the family in advance to get an

    idea of their needs and verify ALL informationlisted in the envelope. There are names andphone numbers of Spanish interpreters with thefamily information that can assist you as needed.It is also VERY important that you enter all infor-mation into the Christmas Giving Tree Book onthe table by the tree.Another option is to choose an envelope fromour other Tree. You may donate scrip, cash orchecks which will be used to provide food andnecessities to needy families. There will be a boxin the Church office for these donations. We

    will also have a Toy Bin in Church throughoutthe Advent Season. All toys should be new orhand crafted and left unwrapped.The Giving Tree can be one waythis Christmas for you and yourfamily to glorify the Lord.
