There was much that had taken place and much that had been shared on that Sun- day when we got together. Out of the Proclaim Conference this team of committed parishioners talked about the things that can happen here within our parish, and there were a number of events that amazingly we are already endeavoring to achieve. But there are so many others as well. At present many of our rural brothers and sisters are struggling through this severe drought that is impacting upon their lives and so will also impact upon us the city dwellers as well. There is a plan to endeavor to join with our rural brothers and sisters through some financial support that may alleviate the pain of their lives at this time, if only for just a little. More of this will be forthcoming and there will be opportunities for us to offer our sup- port tot hem at this time. The Proclaim Conference brought a great excitement to the parishioners who attended, and much had been discussed as a result, but one of the great statements that I had heard from all of this, happened last Sunday as our Team gath- ered for lunch. One of our Team said something that I think could become a Mot- to for our lives of faith. ‘Everyone can make a difference’ So significant was such a simple line that I wrote it down and felt it worthwhile sharing it with all of you. Everyone can make a differ- ence’ Listen to this simple statement and take it to heart, and you too can choose to make a difference by your lives.
