Catholic Church
Twenty-Second Sunday in O.T.
September 3, 2017
In one way or another, we are all like Peter. One day, we’re
boldly asserting the place faith has in our lives, and the
next, we downplay the role of faith or minimize the
changes we know we must make in order to live as
disciples of Jesus Christ. What challenges do you face in
living your faith at work or school? Are there questions of
ethical behavior, compassion for others, commitment to
Sunday/holy day Mass, or facing temptations to take part
in inappropriate behavior?
When considering what we really need, and not what we
want, we want and need a relationship with God and with
others. ©catholiclifeandfaith2017

Debemos vivir como Jesús, abiertos, acogedores;
con nuestra comunidad?

Pope Francis September Prayer Intention
Week One Prayers for Season of Creation
Moment of Contemplation
“Our common home is like a
sister with whom we share our
life, and beautiful mother who
opens her arms to embrace
us.” (Pope Francis)
Reflection Question: What is
the violence I do towards the
environment- in what I do and
in what I fail to do?
Prayer for the Week: All-
powerful God, fill us with
peace, that we may live as
brothers and sisters, harming
no one. O God of the poor,
help us to rescue the
abandoned and forgotten of
this earth, so precious in your
eyes.
