Moms Prayer & Share What mom does not need support? Moms Prayer & Share uses the Scriptures, the

Saints, Spiritual readings and of course the Blessed Mother to make sense of this

wonderful vocation of motherhood. The group meets every 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of

the month during the school year beginning Wednesday, September 4 after Mass

(9:00 am). Children are always welcome. Questions call Therese Allen @ 775-7144

Golf Tournament - The Annual Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament will be held on

Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Augusta Country Club. Registration is @

3:00 pm with shotgun start @ 4:00 pm.

Cost is $160.00 per team/$40.00 per person. Cost includes

steak dinner, salad & dessert along with a wide variety of door prizes.

PSR Registration for 1st through 8th Grades PSR Registration is currently taking place in the church office or on-line. Classes begin

on Wednesday, September 4 at 6:45 pm in the school gym. After the catechists are

introduced and go to their classrooms, there will be a parents meeting.

Breakfast at St. James Knights of Columbus members are happy to invite everyone

for breakfast Sunday, September 1, only after the 8:00 am

Mass. Come join us in the school gym for some great food, relaxation and conversa-

tion! Donations are accepted. Donuts will be served after the 10:30 am Mass by the

Knights of Columbus in the foyer of the church.

Natural Family Planning Our next introductory class at St. James will be Thursday, September 5 @ 7:00 pm

in the church conference room (west side of foyer). For more information or to regis-

ter for a class call Pat Lowrance (316-775-5663), or the NFP Office (316-685-5240).

Ice Cream Social Post Meeting All chairpersons are invited and encouraged to attend the post Ice Cream

Social meeting on Sunday, August 25 at 5:00 pm in the church classroom.

Bring your list of workers, suggestions and ideas. Ice cream will be served.
