Principals’ Message

Last Wednesday evening, we had the privilege, as a community, to celebrate Lily Duffy’s entrance into eternal life with a Memorial Mass and Reception. Truly this was a moving experience.

Thank you to all who were present representing the SJV Community and to all those who prepared the beautiful reception. Your generous response was overwhelming.

It is in these experiences that our children, through their parents’ examples, learn to be compassionate, empathetic, respectful and hospitable. At all times, the parent’s example is primary.

Sean and his Dad, John Duffy, felt very supported, and we know this support will continue.

Peace, Sr. Michele Anne and Martha Wood

Please return your Communication Envelope each week.

Due to cost and not wanting to waste, it is important that we order crab carefully. We hope you are coming to the Crab Feed. This has been a great evening for all the years it has taken place! 2012 will be no exception.

7th ANNUAL FUND - Is your name here yet?Thank you to those of you who have contributed to the 7th Annual Fund. Our goal is $50K and we are on our way. If every family participates in this Drive, we can reach this lofty goal. Your contribution will increase the Tuition Assistance that is available for our families and will help fund an updated internal communication system.

Through the funds collected in previous years we have made the following improvements: re-paved the schoolyard, purchased picnic benches for the community center, made contributions to the scholarship/tuition assistance fund, purchased blinds and ceiling fans for the classrooms, etc. All of these upgrades have been done without raising the tuition and through the generous contributions of our parents, friends and alumni.

Please help us reach our goal! We can do it!! COLLECTED TO DATE: $19,365

Something New!!FAITH ADVENTURE NIGHT

Friday, January 20th 6:30pm to 8:30pm St. John Vianney ChurchFaith Adventure Night is an intergenerational opportunity for children and their families of all ages!!
