MENSAJE DEL PAPA FRANCISCO PASCUA 2016
Queridos hermanos y hermanas, ¡Feliz Pascua! Jesucristo, encarnación de la misericordia de Dios, ha muerto en cruz por amor, y por amor ha resucitado. Por eso hoy proclamamos: ¡Jesús es el Señor! Su resurrección cumple plenamente la profecía del Salmo: «La misericordia de Dios es eterna», su amor es para siempre, nunca muere. Podemos confiar totalmente en él, y le damos gracias porque ha descendido por nosotros hasta el fondo del abismo. Ante las simas espirituales y morales de la humanidad, ante al vacío que se crea en el corazón y que provoca odio y muerte, solamente una infinita misericordia puede darnos la salvación. Sólo Dios puede llenar con su amor este vacío, estas fosas, y hacer que no nos hundamos, y que podamos seguir avanzando juntos hacia la tierra de la libertad y de la vida. El anuncio gozoso de la Pascua: Jesús, el crucificado, «no está aquí, ¡ha resucitado!» (Mt 28,6), nos ofrece la certeza consoladora de que se ha salvado el abismo de la muerte y, con ello, ha quedado derrotado el luto, el llanto y la angustia (cf. Ap 21,4). El Señor, que sufrió el abandono de sus discípulos, el peso de una condena injusta y la vergüenza de una muerte infame, nos hace ahora partícipes de su vida inmortal, y nos concede su mirada de ternura y compasión hacia los hambrientos y sedientos, los extranjeros y los encarcelados, los marginados y descartados, las víctimas del abuso y la violencia. El mundo está lleno de personas que sufren en el cuerpo y en el espíritu, mientras que las crónicas diarias están repletas de informes sobre delitos brutales, que a menudo se cometen en el ámbito doméstico, y de conflictos armados a gran escala que someten a poblaciones enteras a pruebas indecibles. […] Dios ha vencido el egoísmo y la muerte con las armas del amor; su Hijo, Jesús, es la puerta de la misericordia, abierta de par en par para todos. Que su mensaje pascual se proyecte cada vez más sobre el pueblo venezolano, en las difíciles condiciones en las que vive, así como sobre los que tienen en sus manos el destino del país, para que se trabaje en pos del bien común, buscando formas de diálogo y colaboración entre todos. Y que se promueva en todo lugar la cultura del encuentro, la justicia y el respeto recíproco, lo único que puede asegurar el bienestar espiritual y material de los ciudadanos. El Cristo resucitado, anuncio de vida para toda la humanidad que reverbera a través de los siglos, nos invita a no olvidar a los hombres y las mujeres en camino para buscar un futuro mejor. Son una muchedumbre cada vez más grande de emigrantes y refugiados —incluyendo muchos niños— que huyen de la guerra, el hambre, la pobreza y la injusticia social. Estos hermanos y hermanas nuestros, encuentran demasiado a menudo en su recorrido la muerte o, en todo caso, el rechazo de quien podrían ofrecerlos hospitalidad y ayuda.

NUEVO TALLER DE NULIDAD MATRIMONIAL
En este año de la Misericordia, el Papa Francisco ha creado
nuevas normas para el proceso de la nulidad matrimonial
(también llamado comunmente anulación). Si usted o alguien
cercano a usted desea saber más sobre este tema, habrá un
taller presentado por el Tribunal Metropolitano para explicar
este proceso y responder a sus preguntas, que se realizará el
miércoles 13 de abril de 2016 a las 7:00pm en St. Barbara
Parish, Woburn. El taller será en inglés.

Sábado 7 de mayo y 14 de 2016 se
ofrecerá un taller sobre la atención
Pastoral a los enfermos y el
programa de Saint Mary Lynn de
9:00 a 15:00 Timothy Duff, un
capellán certificado, enseñará el
curso. El taller incluirá una revisión
de habilidades de comunicación, los
fundamentos de la visitación
pastoral, temas clave de la enfermedad, espiritual las
necesidades y preocupaciones, problemas de dolor, pérdida y
muerte y cuidados. Ministros de Eucaristía, visitas pastorales,
enfermeras de parroquia y otros se anima a asistir. Costo: $40.
Colaboraciones de uno, dos, tres y cuatro son gratuitos.
