13th November 2019 NEWSLETTER 35/2019 Term 4—Week 5
On Monday, Year Six led the school in a Remembrance Day Ceremony to remember all those who served and continue to serve our country as well as those who have given their lives to protect us and preserve our freedom.
It was great to see Kindergarten getting into the spirit of the day with their self made poppies.
Year One and Year Two are very hopeful and obviously looking forward to Christmas as they walked to the
Post Office last week to post letters to Santa. Good luck with your wishes! Just a reminder that Friday 22nd November is a Pupil Free day due to the Staff attending a Spirituality Day. Also a reminder that all Cookie Dough orders are due this Friday the 15th November. On behalf of the school community we would like to offer our condolences to the Darrington family on the recent passing of Margaret Darrington. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. Anita Stibbard & Bernadette Irvin

Lids For Kids
Next time you are planning to throw away your plastic lids,
think twice because people can use them to make
prosthetic limbs for disabled children.
Year 6 are collecting plastic lids to donate for the making of
prosthetic limbs. If you have any plastic lids at home
please send them in with your child to the Year 6 classroom.
Did you know it only takes 500 plastic lids to make one
prosthetic limb?
So help Year 6 make a kids day by just simply storing away
just a few plastic lids.
PLEASE BRING TO YEAR 6 CLASSROOM
