Superior Diocese Council of Catholic Women Retreat
The SDCCW is sponsoring a Fall Retreat on Saturday, October
26, 2019, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, in Cameron, WI. The
presenter, Danielle Hendricks, is an energetic young woman and
mother from Rice Lake. She is giving two presentations on how
we as Catholic women are called to live our faith in today’s
world and carry out God's Great Commission. Fr. Balaraju
Policetty is providing a time for Reconciliation and is also
celebrating Mass. The day will be spiritually fulfilling, a day of joy
for celebrating the season of fall and a great way to connect
with other Catholic women in the Diocese of Superior. All
women are invited to attend! The cost for the retreat is $20.00
and includes lunch. Registration forms are available in the
parish office.
Fr. David records his weekend homilies and they
are available in audio both
at anchoredinthelord.com or as the podcast
"Anchored In The Lord” in iTunes, Google Play, or
wherever you get your podcasts. Spiritual suste-
nance on the go, available 24/7, ready when you
are! Whether you're on the road, out of town, or a summer
visitor, you can always stay connected!
Considering Cremation???
Secure your niche in our new Columbarium. Folders are avail-
able in the parish office.
Recycled Christmas
This fun event is to raise money for the youth programs of St.
Joseph and St. Ann. Saturday, November 23 is the date here
in the church hall. It is a sale of pre-owned Christmas and win-
ter items: trees, cards, ornaments, figurines, Christmas cloth-
ing/jewelry, yard art – anything Christmas. If you wish to do-
nate items for this rummage sale of only Christmas/winter
items, please save them for this event.
Adorers Needed
Spending an hour a week with our Lord in quiet adoration is
good therapy. We are in need of adorers for the following
hours:
Monday – 10:00 am (temp) &
Tuesday – 1:00 pm
Thursday—1:00 pm
Friday – 9:00 am, 7:00 pm & 8:00 pm
Call 715-634-4331 if you would like to spend 60 very special
minutes a week with Jesus.
Elizabeth Ministry Thank You
Elizabeth Ministry would like to thank all parishioners for their
donations throughout the year. Also, to those who donate
items anonymously—your generosity is so appreciated. We
would also like to thank the Service Project Group and Quilters
ministries for their beautiful baby receiving blankets and quilts
for the newborns at our local hospital. The Elizabeth Ministry
is so blessed by our parish of St. Joseph. May God continue all
of His blessings upon each one of you.
Harvest Dinner
St. Francis Solanus Mission in Reserve will be holding a Har-
vest Dinner on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Venison and turkey

Religious Ed will have bins at the entrances of the church to
collect bags of candy to donate to the community Trunk or
Treating event on Main Street on October 31. Each car is
asked to bring at least 1000 pieces of candy to distribute to
participating youth--our goal is to exceed that! Thank you for
your continued support!!

Therefore, the Rosary will be prayed before all Masses during
