FOOD AND SAFETY

As we gather together to share food, whether it is after a paraliturgy, parent meeting, sharing treats for

children’s birthdays, P&F functions or simply lunchtime eating for the children, we need to be aware of

our school’s “allergy friendly” policy. We ask that when buying or preparing food that will be brought to

school for any reason, sweet or savoury, you avoid nuts and nut products. There are children in our

school that suffer from one of the most severe forms of allergic symptoms, which is Anaphylaxis. These

reactions can be serious and life threatening. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding in

this matter.

Kaylene Bozich, Safety and Health Officer

pictures and we will have them up in the room by next week. We are continuing our work on Fractions

and Narratives. In week 6 the children will have a Narrative writing assessment to complete. Parents

please check if your child needs more glue or other stationery. Thank you.

and return the books on Monday morning.

the 5.30pm or 7pm session. Your child receiving Communion needs to attend this meeting with

you.

YEAR FOUR CLASS REP NEWS

Thank you to all the mums who came to our catch up dinner last night. It was a great relaxing night.

Looking forward to another night next term. Frances Svilicich

YEAR FIVE

We have been looking at Lines and Angles in Maths this week and the students have created wonderful

tutorials on different lines and angles. Please check their digital Numeracy books for these tutorials.

Student created tutorials are a wonderful way of students to reinforce their knowledge by putting

concepts into a format that they understand. Using the iPads to create these tutorials is a simple process,

engaging them and saving on paper use at the same time!

A reminder that the class Science presentations are next week so please ask your child about their

progress with this. Have a lovely week

Mr John Stillitano, Year Five Teacher

YEAR SIX

We are currently enjoying our camp. We will see you all on Friday.
