"Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour when
the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
You also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect,
the Son of Man will come." - Lk 12:39-40

parishioner, relatively new to the parish,
home from school, or visiting for the

chosen to worship here at St. Louis
Catholic Church. As Roman Catholics, the
Holy Eucharist is the center of our lives,
and the source or our mission.
Nourished by the Word of God, we strive
to instill family values, promote social
justice, and foster life-long formation in
the Catholic faith. As we work together to
build a community dedicated to living the

stewardship and the responsible use of

Holy Land Arts at St. Louis Church Please accept our great appreciation for the opportunity
to market our Olivewood Handcrafted religious items at
St. Louis Church the weekend of August 24th & 25th.
With the hostilities worsening in the Holy Land and a lack
of Pilgrims visiting, the unemployment rate is almost 70%.
Many Christians have responded by fleeing the Holy Land. It is conceivable that all
Christians could leave. However, the absence of a living Christian community is
very dangerous for the Holy sites such as the Nativity Church in Bethlehem. By
buying these engraved pieces of art, you help strengthen the Christian presence in
the city of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, and the surrounding areas.
Proceeds go to the Christian families (the artisans) who have been working hard
for ages in this type of tourism related hand carvings. Purchasing one of these
unique items will help build new hope in keeping the Christian culture alive. For
further information, please visit www.theholylands.org or Email:
[email protected]. We continue to ask for your prayers until Peace prevails.
