Natural Family Planning A Natural Family Planning Class will be

held on Sunday, September 9th, from

9:00am to 12:15pm in the Deanery

Resource Center at St. Louis. There is a

$40.00 fee for books and materials. For

Baptism Preparation Class The Baptism preparation class is for

parents who are having their first child

Baptized. The next class will be offered

on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00pm

in the Deanery Resource Center at St.

Louis. Please call the parish office to

Adoration Chapel The open hours for the Adoration Chapel

are: Sunday – 8:00am, 9:00am,

11:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 5:00pm;

Wednesday—3:00am; Thursday—

3:00am; Friday – 1:00pm; Saturday—

5:00am, 7:00pm.

Altar Server Sign-up/Training Meeting Any students, in 5th grade or older, are welcome to become Altar

Servers. Sign up forms are in the parish office or on the back of this

bulletin. All current servers should also fill out a sign up form if you

wish to continue serving this school year. Altar server training will

be held on Sunday, August 26th at 1:30pm for experienced servers

and at 2:30pm for new servers. All altar servers must attend one of

the training sessions.

Bible Study A Bible Study on St. Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians will begin Friday, September

7th at 9:00am, in the parish office. The group meets every Friday.

That Man is You The group will begin a new program this Friday, September 7th from 6:00am—

7:30am at the Knights of Columbus. Meetings will be every Friday.

Mission Team Information Meeting Want to be a part of something more? Do you enjoy helping people? All students

in grade 8-12 and their parents are invited to an informational meeting about the

2019 Mission Trip to Topeka, Kansas! The meeting will take place on Sunday,

August 26th at 4:00pm in the St. Louis School Cafeteria. Come find out if the

TriForce Mission Team is right for you! Stay for pizza after the meeting! Go to

Seasons of Hope - A Group for the Bereaved If you’re in need of consolation after losing a loved one, this Christ-Centered faith

sharing group is for you. We will meet for six Mondays beginning on September

10th and continuing through October 15th at St. Mary’s, Greensburg in the church

meeting room. The program begins at 6:45pm and concludes at 8:30pm.

If you are interested in attending this program, please call the Parish Office (812-

663-8427) and leave your name and phone number. A member of the

Bereavement Ministry Team will call you back. You are welcome to bring a friend

or relative with you.

Life in the Spirit Seminar Do you want to know Christ more personally? The Life In The Spirit Seminar is a life

-transforming experience where you will discover Christ’s personal and

unconditional love for YOU. Listen to dynamic teachings to help you experience

Christ personally and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This seminar will take place

September 19th—October 17th, on 5 consecutive Wednesday evenings from

7:00pm–9:00pm at St. Ignatius Parish in Cincinnati. For more info or to register

First Communion Meeting Parents of all 2nd graders who will be making their First Communion on

May 5, 2019 should plan to attend the meeting on Wednesday,

September 12th at 6:45pm in the school cafeteria.

This meeting is for parents only.

St. Louis Festival News Help Needed We will be washing dishes in the school kitchen, in preparation for the Parish Festival, on Tuesday,

September 4th at 5:00pm. All are welcome to help. This is a great opportunity for students needing

service hours!

We are in need of 125 for the day of the festival. If you can donate a pie, please call Diane Fullenkamp

812-934-3558.

We also need workers for the carry out food stand. If you are able to help in this area, please call the parish office.

Bushels of Baskets We are off to a great start, but we are still in need of baskets. As we begin to arrange baskets we are in need of many items.

Cash donations are welcome as we will use this to purchase themed items and basket supplies. Items can dropped off at

the parish office. With your help we look forward to another successful year with the Basket Booth.

Beat the Bid Booth We are looking for things that might bring a bid of $25.00 or more. How about gardening, cooking, raking leaves, Christmas

decorating or cleaning. How about offering tennis or golf lessons or hand crafted items. Families could get together and contrib-

ute one bigger item! If you have an item, service, tickets to a sporting event or play to donate, please call the parish office.

Plant Stand The Plant Stand is in need of plants and bulbs. Please label your plants & bulbs (name, description, color) and include any spe-

cial care needed. Plants, flower garden tools & yard ornaments may be dropped off at the Plant Stand the morning of the festi-

val. If you need help bringing your plants to the booth, please call Bill & Pam Koehne, 812-663-5273.

Festival Advertising Flyers advertising our Festival are available in the parish office. Please help us advertise by

taking a flyer to post at your place of employment or your business.

We have some yard signs advertising our festival. If you would like to place a sign in your yard,

you can pick one up at the parish office.
