FR. DANIEL SINIBALDI by Ronald Chagnon

SR. LUCIE SAYS

The Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Accla-

mation for this the 30th

Sunday in Ordinary

Time seems to be in line with our two commu-

nity celebrations of the week—one to remem-

ber our beloved Fr. Daniel, and where we are

in the grieving process, and the other to give

thanks to God and to be ready to carry out

our own mission for this community. There-

fore, “the Lord hears the cry of the poor.” In

this case, our longings as we remember, and

our celebration to move on as a community of

faith together. God was reconciling the world

to Himself in Christ and entrusting to us the

message of salvation. Let us then be true serv-

ants of the Lord and give thanks that we are

called to go forward with trust in the Lord,

and pray for one another.
