Prayer to stop the coronavirus Our Father, we confidently ask that the Covid-19 does no further harm and that this epidemic can be controlled soon and that you return health to those affected and peace where it has reached soon. It welcomes peo-ple who have died from this disease, com-forts their families. Support and protect healthcare personnel who fight it and inspire and bless those who work to control it. Lord Jesus, doctor of our souls and our bodies, we feel helpless in this situation of international health emergency, but we trust you, give us your peace and health.

Prayer of Pope Francis for Protection and Help

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm. You…know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen. Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of those of us who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.

Oración para frenar el coronavirus

Padre nuestro, con confianza te pedimos que el Covid-19 no haga más daño y que pueda controlarse pronto esta epidemia y que devuelvas pronto la salud a los afectados y la paz a los lugares a donde ha llegado. Acoge a las personas que han fallecido por esta enfer-medad, conforta sus familias. Sostén y pro-tege al personal sanitario que la com-bate e inspira y bendice a los que tra-bajan para controlarla. Señor Jesús, mé-dico de nuestras almas y de nuestros cuer-pos, nos sentimos desvalidos en esta situa-ción de emergencia sanitaria internacional, pero confiamos en ti, danos tu paz y la salud.

EASTER SUNDAY CHRIST IS ALIVE, HE IS OUR HOPE

“If the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit

that dwell in your in you.” –Romans 8:11 The resurrection of Christ the principal of new life for every man and every woman, for true renewal always begin from the heart. Yet Easter is also the beginning of the new world, set free from slavery of sin and death: the world open at last to the kingdom of God, a kingdom of love, peace and fraternity. Christ is alive and he wants you to be alive! He is in you; he is with you and he never abandons you. However far you may wander, he is always there. He calls you and he waits for you to return to him and start over again. He calls you feel you are growing old out of sorrow, resentment or fear, doubt or failure, he will always be there to re-store your strength and your hope. Christ is alive and he remains with us. Risen, he shows us the light of his face, and he does not abandon all those experiencing hardship, pain and sor-row. May the risen Christ, who flung open the doors of the tomb, open our hearts to the needs of the disadvantaged, the vulnerable, the poor, the unemployed, the marginalized, and all those who knock at our door in search of brad, refuge and the recognition of their dignity. Christ is alive! He is hope for each of us and for the entire world. May we let ourselves be re-newed by him! Happy Easter!

How might I open my heart to those in need to give myself and them new life?

Prayer for Easter Sunday My Risen Lord, how good it is to feel your powerful but welcoming presence that awakens and fills all the environments that surround me with life, remov-ing all feelings of anguish and abandonment. Help me to always stay close to You, because only from You comes that love that sustains me, that strength that restores me and all that power to continue fighting with courage. Thank you for your eternal sacrifice of love on the Cross, for your glorious resurrec-tion that invites me to renew my heart in your promises, and thank you for all the moments of prayer that we have enjoyed together. Help me to recognize you at all times, feel that you are alive and present, feel your closeness and the warmth of your voice that comforts and brings peace to the soul. Only your voice I want to follow, only your voice I want to feel. Help me to recognize your voice in sadness and happiness, in moments of distress. I want to resort to it and surrender to your will because You have defeated death and given me the gift of salvation. I ask you to continue working in me, keep blessing me and opening paths of healing, health, strength, hope. Train me with your wisdom to know how to break all walls of pain that won't let me go. Give me the grace to be able to free myself from fears and oppressions, to feel empowered and brave to go out and announce all the good in your promises. I want to be born again in the Spirit, to remake my life to praise and adore you, because in no other hands could I be more secure. Amen.

DOMINGO DE PASCUA CRISTO ESTÁ VIVO, ES NUESTRA ESPERANZA

"Si el espíritu del que resucitó a Jesús de entre los muertos habita en ti, el que resucitó a Cristo de los muertos también dará vida a tus cuerpos mor-

tales a través de su Espíritu que habita en ti en ti". –Romanos 8:11 La resurrección de Cristo, el principal de la nueva vida para cada hombre y cada mujer, para que la verdadera renovación siempre comience desde el corazón. Sin embargo, la Pascua es también el comienzo del nuevo mundo, liberado de la esclavitud del pecado y la muerte: el mundo abierto al fin al reino de Dios, un reino de amor, paz y fraternidad. ¡Cristo está vivo y quiere que estés vivo! El esta en ti; él está contigo y nunca te abandona. Por muy lejos que vayas, él siempre está ahí. Te llama y espera a que vuelvas a él y comiences de nuevo. Él te llama sentir que estás envejeciendo debido a la tristeza, el resentimiento o el miedo, la duda o el fracaso, siempre estará allí para restaurar tu fuerza y tu esperanza. Cristo está vivo y permanece con nosotros. Resucitado, nos muestra la luz de su rostro, y no abandona a todos aquellos que sufren dificultades, dolor y tristeza. Que el Cristo resucitado, que abrió las puertas de la tumba, abra nuestros corazones a las necesidades de los desfavorecidos, los vulnerables, los pobres, los desempleados, los marginados y todos los que llaman a nuestra puerta en busca de brad, refugio. y el reconocimiento de su dignidad. ¡Cristo está vivo! Él es la esperanza para cada uno de nosotros y para el mundo entero. ¡Que nos dejemos renovar por él! ¡Felices Pascuas!

¿Cómo podría abrir mi corazón a los necesitados para darme a ellos y a ellos una nueva vida?

Oración para el Domingo de Pascua Mi Señor Resucitado, qué bueno es sentir tu presencia poderosa pero acogedora que despierta y llena de vida todos los ambientes que me rodean, alejando todo sentimiento de angustia y abandono. Ayúdame a permanecer siempre cerca de Ti, porque solo de Ti me viene ese amor que me sostiene, esa fuerza que me restaura y todo ese poder para seguir luchando con valentía. Gracias por tu eterno sacrificio de amor en la Cruz, por tu gloriosa resurrección que me invita renovar mi corazón en tus promesas, y gracias por todos los momentos de oración que hemos disfruta-do juntos. Ayúdame a reconocerte en todo momento, sentir que estás vivo y pre-sente, sentir tu cercanía y la calidez de tu voz que consuela y trae la paz al alma. Só-lo tu voz quiero seguir, solo tu voz quiero sentir. Ayúdame a reconocer tu voz en las tristezas y alegrías, en los momentos de aflicción. Quiero recurrir a ella y rendirme a tu voluntad porque Tú has derrotado la muerte y me has dado el regalo de la sal-vación. Te pido que sigas obrando en mí, sigue bendiciéndome y abriendo caminos de sanación, de salud, de fortaleza, de esperanzas. Capacítame con tu sabiduría pa-ra saber romper todo muro de dolor que no me deja avanzar. Dame la gracia de po-der liberarme de miedos y opresiones, de sentirme capacitado y valiente para salir y anunciar todo lo bueno de tus promesas. Quiero nacer de nuevo en el Espíritu, rehacer mi vida para alabarte y adorarte, porque en ningunas otras manos yo po-dría estar más seguro. Amén.
