The parish is intimately united to the diocese as the diocese is united to the seat of Peter. This is really what we mean when we say “one holy, catholic, and apostolic church.” By making a gift to the Catholic Stewardship Appeal, you are supporting the work of the church in our 38-county diocese. If you are still thinking about making a pledge, please consider doing it today by check, or online by visiting diojeffcity.org and click-ing “Giving” on the menu bar. We count on your prayerful and financial support to help meet the various needs of par-ishes, missions, and schools in the diocese. Thank you if you have already made a gift.

YOU MAY VIEW BISHOPS APPEAL VIDEO BY LOGGING ON TO STMARYSHELBINA.ORG CLICK “PARISH” then “LINKS”, THEN CLICK ON YOUTUBE & WATCH.

March for Life 2018

It is time once again to invite you to join people from our

Diocese and thousands of others in promoting the sanctity

of every human life by attending the annual “March for Life”

in Washington D.C. The dates for this pilgrimage are

Wednesday, January 17 through Saturday, January 20,

there will be a mandatory meeting following the 11:00 AM

Mass at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City for any-

one who has not attended the Diocesan march for life

before. If you are new and plan to take part in the

march, please attend this meeting. We are holding it after

the 11:00 AM Mass so you can arrive in time to attend Mass

if you live a good distance from Jefferson City.

. The Shelby Co Right To Life has offered to pay a portion of

the cost for anyone going. If you are considering making this

pilgrimage as a youth, contact Eulynn Keller, adults please

call the parish office. St Mary’s has 3 planning to attend so
