First Friday of the Month – Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. December 1, 2016. Please sign up for an hour of adoration with the Lord. 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon. First Saturday of the Month – December 2, 2017, 9:00 A.M. This entails Mass, recitation of the spiritual rosary and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Remember to bring your water in a container to be blessed. Following Mass we will be having a presentation on the importance of wearing the Scapular. Come join us, refreshments will be provided. RCIA classes are every Wednesday, at 6:00 PM, St. Mary's Fellowship Hall. Please contact the office if you are interested in attending. Everyone is invited.

The video series Mary Queen of Heaven at Holy Family continues after the 8:30 AM Mass. This exciting award win-ning series will re-introduce you to Our Lady Queen of Heaven. Deacon Wayne Tedford is leading the group. If you can't come this Sunday you are welcome to join in when you can. You will be glad you did.

Mark your calendars The Christmas Party for Holy Family will be held at the Church on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:00 PM. The meat and drinks will be provided by Holy Family. Each person attending please bring a side dish (potato, vegetable, salad) or a dessert.

Knights News: The annual Lights for Christ, Chili Supper will be Tuesday, December 5th at 6:00 PM, immediately

following the dinner they will be installing the Nativity. All are invited to attend.

Cookbook The Ladies’ Guild is taking preorders for the Cookbooks. They are $10.00 each and will be ready to give as Christmas gifts. Please contact one of these two ladies to reserve your copy or copies. Holy Family: Karen Pierce 986-9786 or St. Mary’s: Lois Mahoney 593-0950. If there is no answer, please leave a message. You will be notified when they are ready.

PRE NEWS There will be NO PRE classes or adult discussion group on the Sunday following Thanksgiving, November 26. We will resume all classes on Sunday, December 3.

Angel Tree We will have an angel tree again this year. It will be in the back of the church right after Thanksgiving. So everyone just doesn’t pick one resident and buy everything on the list, we are trying an angel for each item requested. You can pick more than one angel, of course. Details will follow on when the gifts need to be wrapped, labeled and brought back to church. The residents of Good Samaritan are most appreciative of the gifts they receive.

Christmas Party Remember to mark your calendars for the Christmas Party to be held on Sunday, December 17, after Mass, at the Apex Bank of Camden on 641 in the community center behind the bank. The church provides the meat, and everyone is asked to bring a dish to share.
