ADORATION
Lord, I Am Here!
“Whenever I go to the chapel, I put myself in
the presence of our good Lord, and I say to him,
‘Lord, I am here. Tell me what you would have me
to do.’...And then, I tell God everything that is in my
heart. I tell him about my pains and my joys, and
then I listen. If you listen, God will also speak to
you, for with the good Lord, you have to both speak
and listen. God always speaks to you when you
approach him plainly and simply.”
St. Catherine Labouŕe
Feast Day Nov. 28th

General Announcements
Can you keep a promise?
Keeping a promise is one
lesson that every parent
teaches their children. Why
is this? When we keep a promise, we express our
human dignity. In this week’s reading from
Jeremiah, we are reminded that God’s mission to
humanity is to fulfill his promises.
On our wedding day, we married couples make
“fulfilling our promises” to our spouse the main
mission of our life. Keeping our promises or vows
is how we married couples image Christ’s love for
the church.
Don’ let the chaos of the secular craziness distract
you from your mission! This Advent, convince your
spouse he or she is the most important person in you
life through:
Extra verbal affirmation
Over the top service
Generous physical affection
Simple “date night in” after the kids are in bed
Thoughtful but inexpensive gift
