ECAT News: Each year the Ecumenical Action team known as ECAT takes on the mission to ensure that not a single person goes hungry or a single child goes without a gift during this time of year. ECAT in coordination with ECAN and HELP HOUSE work together to assure that every needy person in Osage County is reached. Food donated by our school, community organizations, individuals and churches help provide items used for Holiday meals that serve over 200 people. These meals consist of items for a complete breakfast and Holiday dinner. Clients receive meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas. These boxes also contain personal hygiene items and whatever else has been donated. What is not used for the Holiday boxes is used in the pantry throughout the year. The board of directors as well as the volunteers from ECAT want to thank you for your generous contributions. For the families you adopted, food donated and monetary contributions, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You truly made a difference in someone's life. This is such a joyous and blessed season and what a joyous and blessed church community we have.
