SAVE YOUR USED POSTAGE STAMPS: The C.C.W. is collecting used postage stamps. Proceeds will help to broadcast the word of God in South America. Stamps need to be trimmed leaving a 1/4 inch border of the envelope or they will not be able to peel them off properly. A box marked “Used Postage Stamps” will be left in the back of church or you may drop them off at the parish office during regular office hours.

COPIES OF TODAY’S SERMON are available to take with you after Mass at St. Patrick, enabling further individual reflection on Father’s message for each of you at home. Please see the ushers for a copy as you leave, or look for them on the table on the back wall of the church.

UPCOMING S.W. DEANERY C.C.W. EVENT: Please mark your calendar for one of the big events of the year—THE FALL INSTITUTE—Thursday, September 27th, hosted by St. Andrew’s Church, Elysian beginning with Mass at 6:00 PM and followed by dinner at 6:45 PM. There will be speakers talking about Legislative Commission—Marriage Amendment Update. A notice is posted on information table in back of church. The Marian Eucharistic Congress, held in Fargo the weekend of Oct. 12, 13, & 14. Clergy, religious, and the lay faithful are invited to attend and be a part of this spiritual exercise. Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women is in need of volunteers to answer the 24 hour crisis line from the comfort of your home.
