ST. PAUL

RESPECT LIFE MINISTRY

will resume our monthly meetings in

October. We will gather for morning Mass at

8am on the second Friday of the month,

October 9th, pray a Pro-Life Rosary

following Mass, and then have our meeting.

In the meantime, other Pro-Life things are

happening in our area. St. Paul Respect Life

Ministry members and friends are invited to

come PRAY during the 40 Days for

Life Campaign at Planned Parenthood offices

in Salem. Our Ministry members will be

there every Thursday from 10-11am. Please

join us then, or pray on the PP sidewalk

whenever you are able.

Also, on Sunday, October 4th, we invite you

to be part of Life Chain, a silent witness on

Lancaster Drive from 2:30-3:30 in the

afternoon. Signs will be available at The

Peoples Church at 1:30. Stayton will be

holding a Life Chain event at the same

time. Stay tuned to find out where St. Paul

Respect Life Ministry will attend.

A Powerful Study on the Life of Jesus Christ Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life

a 10-week video study program and book. Anchored in the life of Christ as presented in

the Gospels, this study explores the entirety of Jesus’ life - who he is, what he is really like,

what he taught, what he did for our salvation, and what this means for us as Catholics today.

Join Deacon James and fellow parishioners in this opportunity to study and learn together. All are welcome! The book is helpful, but not required.

Sunday Lectio Divina Sundays at 2:30PM

Join Hilda and your fellow parishioners for an hour of prayer and faith-sharing focused on

the Sunday Mass readings.

Sacramental Preparation at St. Paul Church

BAPTISM:

Baptism preparation continues to be offered in English

and in Spanish. Contact Hilda Klein at the parish office

to begin the process (English) or for classes in Spanish

Registration forms are available in the Narthex and in

the parish office for Sunday faith formation for Pre-K

CONFIRMATION:

St. Paul Church follows a 2-Year Confirmation

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (RCIA):

The RCIA is a process of learning, prayer, and

accompaniment, built on ancient tradition, that

initiates men, women, and children into the Catholic

ADULT CONFIRMATION:

We have adult confirmation classes available for

active adult parishioners who have not yet received

the sacrament of confirmation. The classes are

ongoing and may be started at anytime. Contact Hilda

HOLY MATRIMONY:

Please contact the office to set up an appointment to

discuss marriage preparation and make arrangements

at least 6 months in advance.
