The Good News
Here we are only three months left of this year. Where has it gone? Actually, we have had a good year so far. With lots of love and joy. It’s true that we have lost some wonderful people this year and have had some sad times, but we must have faith in God that we have to move on and move forward. Having Father Leon to lead us has been a great treasure. Al-so, having our tried and true Father Charlie has been a blessing. We have upped our attendance on Sunday and we have started a new ser-vice on Wednesdays at noon, which we hope to continue and get the word out to everyone. We are also adding some new Episcopalians to our fold. We will be cele-brating this in the very near future, which is very exciting. Stay tuned for further info on this. We have seen some of our perish youngsters going off to College. One of our youngsters has started kindergarten this year. Go Clayton! We have a wonderful organist added to our 3rd Sunday of the month. Wel-come Pat Beatty. She is really great folks, come on in. So as we are slowly winding down the year, there is still more to see and do. Our annual CROP walk is coming up on October 15th at 1:30 PM and our annual Baazar is coming up November the 4th, which is going to be great. I can’t wait myself to be there. The annual convention is coming up Novem-ber 11th. This is just a few of the events coming up. It won’t be long before Christmas is upon us, so won’t you join us and cele-brate our new beginning as we walk by faith not by sight in the Holy Spirit of God. Blessings to you all. Sunday, October 16th
Registration starts at 1:30 at St. Paul’s. The walk will begin at 2 pm.
The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles long, which is a great distance for walkers of all ages and abilities. There are 2 ways to participate:
1) You can donate to your church’s team. Remember that 25% of all money raised stays right here in Chittenango.
2) You can register to walk in the CROP walk. 3) The best choice, do BOTH!
You can donate and register in person at church, or you can also choose to do so online. If you register online, you do not need to fill out a paper envelope, unless you want to collect donations from friends and family members. You can also collect donations online if you prefer.
If you would like to register or donate online, here is the link: https://www.crophungerwalk.org/chittenangony/
If you want to donate, you will quickly find the large orange “DONATE” icon to the right of our picture.
If you would like to register to walk, look towards the top of the screen, and click on “REGISTER” All you need to register is an email address! Once you are registered to walk, the website will walk you through a series of steps. You can skip most of them! You may also choose to share the website with family and friends!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email Lisa McGork, she is our chairperson for the CROP walk this year. Her phone number is (315)687-7125, and her
