District also.

- Fr. Yurij Lazurko had his retirement celebration on Sunday, July 2, 2017

in Moose Jaw. Fr. Basil Malowany, Parish Administrator of the St.

Athanasius Parish in Regina, is now the Parish Administrator of Moose Jaw

and District, also.

- Fr. Ivan Derkach (From August 1, 2017) is the Parish Administrator of the

North Battleford District.

- Fr. Warren Dungen (From August 1, 2017) is the Parish Administrator of

the Kamsack Parish District.

- Fr. Ivan Nahachewski (from August 1, 2017 ) is providing pastoral

substitutions and continues to be a Military Chaplain.

- Fr. Joakim Rac: in addition to his duties as a pastor of the Canora Parish

District, from June 22, 2017 is the Parish Administrator of the Wynyard

District also.

22. Hudson Bay Parish: Our Mission Cross from the church grounds was moved

and installed at our Parish Cemetery. It looks beautiful Thanks to all the

HUDSON BAY PARISH

Many items, that are necessary for our church services, were moved to the

Hudson Bay RC church, where we continue to use them during our services:

tabernacle, altar gospel, chalice, chalice covers, spoon, hand cross, finger towels,

3 priest’s vestment sets, censor and stand, little bells, Holy Shroud, knockers,

holy water font and sprinkler, processional cross, liturgy books, hymn books.

We donated:

- To St. Dominic Roman Catholic Parish in Hudson Bay: altar cloths,

candlesticks, several icons, crucifix, two side altars, tetrapod, P.A. system,

bell tower bell.

- To Veillardville Church, which is being restored as a heritage site: votive

candle stand, stations of the cross.

- To Hudson Bay Heritage Park: 2 pews

- To Ukrainian Museum in Saskatoon: large icon, painted by Fr. John

Melnyk.

- To Prairie River Museum: one priest’s vestment set, icons.

- To Hudson Bay Museum: one priest’s vestment set.

- To Canora Church: processional icon

- To Yorkton Deanery storage – disposal (Canora): processional flags, altar

servers dalmatics, icons, monstrance, candlesticks, 2 priest’s vestment sets,

lectern, some old liturgy books and hymn books.

All church pews were sold.

Some dinnerware and kitchen items were donated to Hudson Bay

Community School and St. Peter’s Abbey, Muenster SK.

Dinnerware, miscellaneous kitchen items, book shelves, tables and chairs were

sold at our basement sale.

Remaining items were donated to Salvation Army.
