Vocations: The Tour 2017
Featuring Bishop Monforton
The Office of Vocations will be holding a dioce-
san vocations tour, a series of events throughout
the diocese where parishioners will be able to
hear from priests, religious and Bishop Monforton
just what discernment is and how to pray in order
to follow God’s will for your life. These events
are open to anyone and I would particularly en-
courage parents to come with their children. We
would also love to see high school and college
age men & women and anyone who would like to
hear about what it means to find and live your
vocation. The event closest to St. Peter is at
Blessed Sacrament Church on Main Street, Win-
tersville, on March 7th beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The Adoration Chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. To become a regular adorer: pick an hour
(the hours in bold print are those in need of adorers), and

Rededication of the Tomb of the Unborn Child
A procession and rededication of the Tomb of the
Unborn Child will take place immediately follow-
ing the 12:30 p.m. Mass in Christ the King Chapel
at Franciscan University on Sunday, January 22nd.

St. Paul Church on Main Street in Weirton is proud

Christian artist will be offering a free concert on

CCHS Entrance Test—Wednesday 01/25/2017
The CCHS Guidance Department announces its pre-
registration plans for the 2016-2017 school year.
Present 8th grade students not attending Bishop John King
Mussio Junior High are invited to join us for the entrance
placement test.
Student should report to the main lobby in the CCHS
Building at 7:45 a.m. on 01/25. The day will conclude at
approximately 12 noon. In the event of a snow day or 2
hour delay, the test will be given on Monday 01/30.

FREE THROW CONTEST K of C #472 free throw
contest is open to boys & girls ages 9 to 14. Participants
will complete in their respective age divisions, regional &
state competitions.
Competition will be held Saturday, January 28th in the
BJKM Elementary School gymnasium. Registration &
warm-ups will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Compe-
tition is set to start at 12 noon. Participants will be re-
quired to furnish proof of age & have written parental

the Sunday Vigil Mass and a special blessing for
