His love, our love & our gratitude always, The Ladies Club PARISH NURSE NOTES: Get My People Going – Week 7 – Forgiveness. Forgiveness frees me from the burden of anger. What I refuse to forgive continues to harm me. It consumes my heart, poisons my mind, drains my energies, and cements my soul. The anger, the hurt, the bitterness we carry from the past does little or nothing to harm the one who harmed you. It harms only me. It is acid poured on my soul, eating away at the

peace of mine. Forgiveness occurs when we don’t need to hold a grudge anymore. It is when we are strong enough to be independent of whatever, whomever, it was that hurt us. Forgiveness is the gift that says two things: First, I am just as weak as everyone else in the human race and I know it. Second, my inner life is too rich to be destroyed by anything outside of it. Join us Thurs, Apr 19 at 7 pm in lower level of Sullivan Hall for this subject. How does being able to forgive and forget improve your health? THINKING ABOUT HOMESCHOOLING ?
