expensive.

Roaming through Roy H a il, one is privileged (?) to enjoy sights that exceed the World Fair shows. Schum ach er has a death mask of himself adorning a tapastry, along with a Boy Scout handicraft exhibit Kendrigan's room reminds one of Havana, Cuba. Such na ughty things that he has on display . Enders has conver ted his room into a unique two-room apartment Hargrove and Radous have gone into the paint business Further, many ot the rooms r esemble handball courts . . Room 202 has become ~he regular "bull-session" court, witil many prominent day s tudents attending the noon hour sesswns. Marty McLaughlin and Alex Alessandri are in evidence every .day. Which reminds us, ask Marty fo r little J ohnnie's r eply to the t eacher when asked a question about "feet" . It LJ good and not too degrading. (In fact, mos t of the "bull sessions" are on a high plane.) (Are you listenin', our worthy college council '?)

Well , the inseparables, Ray Roche and Alex Krauklis are evidently golog to be roomies again next year. Only the ·other evening the "Twins of Roy Hall" were elected co-ca,ptains for next year's football team. The firs t time in the history of the College that such a thing has happened. One could understand i t if Roche or Krauklis were backfielt.l men, but they' re both linem en, and so we of the campus a re wondering all the more bow it could be possible that over thirty electors could be so una mimous in their decision that the two must accept the captaincy. Could it be attributed to the Roche-Ellis political party that ruled the campus during the International R elations' Club election? Your guess is as good as our.

Lorenz, come and get your job of Briefer back. Perh aps the rest has done you good. At least you couldn' t do any worse than I h avt!. I never knew this job w8.s such a pes ty thing, or I wouldn't have let Buttgen talk me into writing the column.

fact that Dexter, Rogers, Betourne and Kelly have been out for football until just r ecently explains why they are slow to round into shape. Coach MeN amara expects them to be in playing form soon.

"My expectations aren't so high for this season", continued the coach, "mainly because the squad will lack experience and because ther e are so few veterans. We will be lucl<y if we can win a fourth of our games".
