God of power and might, wisdom and justice,

through You authority is rightly administered,

laws are enacted, and judgment is decreed.

Assist with Your Spirit of counsel and

fortitude, the President and other

government leaders of these United States.

May they always seek the ways of

righteousness, justice and mercy.

Grant that they may be enabled by your

powerful protection to lead our country with

honesty and integrity.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Respect Life: "Don't forget that He whom the whole universe cannot contain, was "hidden" in the womb

of the Holy Virgin for nine months. Once you realize this, you will be awe-filled for the double mystery

that God has confided to you: to conceive a human being made to God's image and likeness, and to give birth to him..." ~Alice von Hildebrand, Philosopher,

"Letter to a Young Girl"

We pray for all baptized Christians, may the Lord grant them the grace to live out their

baptismal call with renewed joy and to recognize within this call a need to respect all life from

conception to natural death.

Vintage Club (over 50's) will meet this Wednesday, January 18th at

Ding How in Wetumpka at noon. If you have any questions, call Judy Hayner at 334-857-2690.

Pray for Father Lynch The gift of your love in the form

of a card would be greatly appreciated by our former pastor. Father Francis Lynch

Sunday Reflection

January 15, 2017

“Now the Lord has spoken who formed me as his servant from the womb...” Isaiah 49:5

You have to do what God is calling you to do and I have to do what God is calling me to do. Guess

what, each of has been given a different plan!

So, stop comparing yourself to others. Don’t let envy and jealousy enter your life. Be thankful

for the gifts God has given you and generously share them with others.

Sunday Reflection

Please make plans to attend the annual

Memorial Service for the Unborn at Greenwood Cemetery

Sunday, January 22nd 2:30-3:30pm

Join the Montgomery-area pro-life communi-ty as we come together, at the start of a new year and on the anniversary of the infamous Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion 44 years ago, to pray for

the unborn and an end to abortion. It is also a good time to personally reflect on what God is calling each of us to do for the protection

of the unborn. Several pro-life organizational representatives will be in attendance. Dr.

Matt Phillips, head of Life on Wheels, will be the Keynote speaker. Please join us and pass

this invitation along to others, as well

Hearts Afire Retreats beginning soon!

Authored by Father Michael Gaitley with the Marians

very powerful and life changing! Please ask anyone

who has gone thru them, and you will find that you

will not want to miss this! Dates for the retreats have

not yet been set as we need to see when would be

the most convenient time for the participants. Sign-

up sheets are on the bulletin board in the Budde

Bldg, or you can text Jan (334-991-0339) or email

her in the church office ([email protected])

Jesus Christ thru our Mother Mary. We study several pow-erful saints to learn how they lived their consecrated

lives, and ask their intercession for us.
