LEVEL 3 SNOW EMERGENCY GUIDELINES Whenever a county/city within the Diocese of Toledo is

placed under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, during which all roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel, the Catholic Churches within that geographic region will cancel the scheduled Saturday Vigil, Sunday, or Holy Day Masses. Catholics in that region, therefore, are dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass. If Masses are cancelled, Catholics are encouraged to participate in Holy Mass via television, radio, or internet, making a spiritual Communion. When Mass is cancelled, all other diocesan, parish, or school events in that geographic region are also cancelled.

HAVE YOU BEEN FORMED? It is a gateway to some of the best Catholic teaching

DID YOU MISS OUR PARISH MISSION WITH FR. JIM SICHKO IN JANUARY?

DID YOU ATTEND AND ARE

INTERESTED IN HEARING MORE?

Take advantage of this local opportunity coming up February 26th-28th in Carey!

The Basilica & National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey is hosting a mission, “60 Minutes for Jesus” with Fr. Jim Sichko. Fr. Jim will be using real-life experiences and relating them to the gospel message of Jesus Christ with scripture, storytelling, laughter and praise. Fr. Jim is a truly gifted preacher and evangelist from the Diocese of Lexington, KY. In February 2016, Pope Francis commissioned Fr. Jim as one of his Papal Missionaries of Mercy. The Basilica invited Fr. Jim back to be the homilist at all of our Masses the weekend of February 26th. The mission will continue on Sunday, February 26th, Monday,

February 27th and Tuesday, February 28th, beginning 7:00 PM in the Basilica. All are invited to join in the mission.

ST. WENDELIN CATHOLIC CEMETERY PLOTS AVAILABLE

The cost of a cemetery plot at St. Wendelin Catholic

Cemetery is $850. This amount includes the pouring of the

footer, which was previously an additional cost at the

owner’s expense. Take advantage of this low price now

before concrete and labor prices are raised.

To purchase a cemetery plot(s), please contact the Parish

Office at 419-435-6692.
