1. Create a folder called “Trucks” inside your SpinTires Dev folder.

3. Most vehicles can be installed directly from the .ZIP file from within the game. HOWEVER: The GQ Y60 Patrol is an exception to this, as it must be extracted directly in to the games MEDIA folder. Open the patrol.zip file (fig. 1a) and drag all of the folders inside the archive and put them in to the games MEDIA folder (fig. 1b), when it asks if you wish to overwrite existing files, select OK. The Patrol will now show up automatically within the game when you add the vehicle, as you will see in the following steps.

4. Load up the game and select “Add...” in the top right hand corner.

5. If all has been done correctly the Patrol should be listed in the top right window. Select “Patrol”.

6. A ghost model of the Patrol should appear. From here you can click on the screen to position it in a different spot, and click and hold the left mouse button and move the mouse to rotate the direction of the ghost model. When you’re happy with the position, select “Add” on the bottom left of the dialog box.

7. The Patrol will appear in game and can be selected for driving by clicking its name in the top right hand corner.

2. Copy the vehicles and trailers in to this folder.

7. To install a vehicle from a .ZIP file from within the “Trucks” folder, select “Add...” from the top right hand corner.

9. A warning will appear on your screen if you are running the game in full screen mode. To change the game to windowed mode, hold down ALT and press ENTER at the same time.

11. Scroll down through the list until you find your game folder, double click the game folder, then double click the Trucks folder. Select the truck that you wish to install, in this example, the “samurai.zip” and press OK.

13. Trailers can also be added in the same way that vehicles are added. The Kamaz must be installed BEFORE installing the trailers, otherwise the game will crash. Select “Install” from the dialog box, locate the game folder, then trucks folder, and select the .ZIP file containing the trailers (In this example “OoveesKamazTrailers.zip”) and select OK.

14. Select the trailer from the top part of the dialog box and press Add. To attach the trailer, reverse the truck up to the trailer and press “T”.

12. Select the vehicle in the top part of the dialog box and a ghost model of the vehi-cle will appear. Click “Add” in the bottom left of the dialog box and the vehicle will then be placed in game.

10. Now the game is in windowed mode, select “Install” again from the bottom right of the dialog box.
