A Revolution in Spotlighting Concord Stadium is an innovative low energy spotlight

range which takes display lighting into a new dimension.

Utilising 16 x 1W LED’s, generating up to 1200 fixture

lumens this cutting-edge spotlight introduces a new

highly flexible accent lighting tool.

The Concord vision was to design and develop the

optimum LED spotlight. The Stadium range incorporates

all the features and benefits of the new LED technology

to enhance performance designed around a super slim

housing. Allowing the spotlight to provide lighting

solutions for a myriad of lighting applications including

museums, galleries and retail spaces.

The Stadium portfolio introduces two versions, Stadium

EVO and PRO both with excellent colour rendering, low

running temperatures and very long lamp life resulting

in reduced maintenance costs and energy saving efficient

light source with low power consumption. Further

advantages of this innovative LED lighting solution

include the absence of UV and infra-red radiation, making

Stadium ideal for sensitive environments.

Stadium EVO benefits from an innovative integrated

LED driver which eliminates the need for a remote gear

housing. This, in turn, slims the form and profile of the

luminaire, for minimal visual intrusion, while also reducing

the appearance of ‘bunching’ of the track.

Stadium PRO provides advance features for professional

applications with a secure twin fixing mechanism, lockable

head and discrete integrated dimmer.

Stadium EVO: Specifically designed for retail and display spaces where textiles and

cosmetics are being displayed. The EVO meets the tough demands

of these environments by providing high colour rendering, zero UV/

IR radiation, reduction in maintenance costs and an energy saving

solution over more traditional lamp sources such as low voltage and

metal halide.

While the ultra slim housing reduces bunching of spotlights on the

track and allows the EVO to be discrete and disappear into the space.

Stadium PRO: Ideal for sensitive environments such as museums and galleries

where measures are taken to protect the paintings and artefacts

from damage caused by ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) light.

The PRO provides a safe, economical and functional lighting solution

for these spaces and introduces individual dimmable control from

an on board potentiometer resulting in energy saving and also

introducing contrast and effect through varying light levels.

Light & Colour

Colour Rendering

Colour rendering is an important quality feature of light. Depending

on use, artificial light should show objects in a light as natural as

possible. A light source that contains the full spectrum of colours

(Ra=100), makes the colours of the illuminated items appear natural.

A light source with Ra = 100 reproduces all colours perfectly.

The lower the Ra value, the less natural the colours reproduced.

Only Halogen lamps are recommended to use in such areas with

high colour rendering, but the life time (2000-4000h) is very low

compared to LED 50.000h

Colour Temperature

Colour temperature refers to the temperature in degrees Kelvin to

which one would have to heat a theoretical “black body” source to

produce light of the same visual colour.

When we say a lamp has a Colour temperature of 3000K, it means a

glowing metal (black body) at 3000 K would produce light of about

the same colour as the lamp. Instead, if the metal is heated to 4100

K, it will produce a much whiter light. Direct sunlight corresponds to

about 5300 K while daylight, which has the blue from the sky mixed

in, is typically 6000 K or above. Cool white:

UV & IR radiation

UV&IRradiation

The visible light region occupies a very narrow portion of the

electromagnetic spectrum. It corresponds to the wavelengths 400 nm

(violet) to 750 nm (red).

Wavelengths shorter than 400nm are called ultraviolet radiation.

They cannot be seen by the human eye. Ultraviolet radiation has the

shortest wavelengths and therefore the most damaging effect.

Wavelengths longer than 760nm are called infrared radiation. This

radiation is also invisible, but it is felt as heat. With daylight we get

the complete spectrum of colour wave lengths including the invisible

UV and IR radiation.
