PAYMENT POLICIES: • Class tuition is based on a 10-month season,
with payments due on the first of every month, September-June.
• Tuition is AutoCharged on the first of each month; a credit card must be on file with Stagelight Performing Arts.
• Invoices will not be sent prior to AutoCharge; a signed Authorization Form must remain on file at the studio.
• A late fee of $20 will be assessed on the 11th of the month if payment is not posted by the 10th.
• Registration and tuition are non-refundable.• Registration fee is paid each season at time of
enrollment.• To drop a class/classes and stop AutoCharge, a Drop
Form must be submitted by the 15th of the month to avoid being charged the next month’s tuition.
• Missed classes cannot be used as “credits” toward tuition.
• Private vocal lesson students who need to purchase a song during a lesson will be charged the cost of the song.
MAKEUP CLASS POLICIES:• Makeups are permitted when a student misses a
class in which he/she is enrolled.• Makeups expire one month after missed class.• Students must be enrolled in at least one class to use
makeups.• Class makeups may not be used toward private
lessons.
CLASS AND PRIVATE LESSON POLICIES:• Group classes are 55 minutes in length, unless
otherwise noted on the schedule. If less than 4 students are in attendance, the class will run 45 minutes. Private lessons are 30 minutes or 1 hour.
• Classes must have a minimum of 4 students enrolled (not present) to be open during the season.
• A student’s age must fall within the class age range to be enrolled in the class (6-month grace period allowed with instructor approval). Level II & level III classes require audition or teacher recommendation and placement.
• Private lessons will be AutoCharged on the 1st of each month. No refunds on private lesson payments.
• Private lessons must be cancelled with 24-hour notice for credit to be used toward future lessons.
• When a private lesson instructor is sick, a qualified substitute will be provided. Private lessons with a substitute cannot be cancelled for credit.
BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS:• Respect yourself, your classmates, teachers and staff.
Avoid gossip.• All social media posts involving Stagelight Performing
Arts must be positive in nature. Negative or inappropriate posts will be reported.
DRESS CODE:• We are a conservative studio. No bare midriffs.• Acting, Vocal and Musical Theatre class: Students
should wear comfortable dance/workout wear that allows for easy movement.
• Ballet ages 7+: Assigned Stagelight leotard according to level, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. A color-specific ballet skirt is optional. Hair in secure bun.
• All other Dance classes: dance/workout wear (no denim) and proper shoes (jazz or tap shoes).
• Hair securely out of face for all movement classes.• Students are not permitted to take class out of dress
code.

Based on student requests, we are excited to bring you these new classes during the 2018-2019 Season!
A CAPPELLA PERFORMANCE GROUP (for ages 12-18): Stagelight’s strongest vocalists mixing and performing various pieces of pop music with only their voices. By invitation only.
ACTING III (for ages 13-18): Delving even deeper into scenework and character work, our most advanced actors will be challenged even further in their work. Teacher approval required.
ADULT TAP IS BACK! Fun, challenging, full of laughs, Adult Tap has been sorely missed and is back this season. All levels welcome!
BALLET IVA (for ages 12-18): Stagelight Performing Arts is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, now through Level IV. Teacher approval required.
GIRL SCOUT PATCH CLASS Your troop can earn badges through our inspiring yoga and/or dance curriculum, provided for every level of scouting!
JAZZ TECH III (ages 10-12 and 13-18): Designed for the advanced dancer, this class delves even deeper into technical jazz skills such as turns and leaps. Requires instructor approval and should be taken in addition to multiple dance classes. Teacher approval required.
LYRICAL I & II (for ages 7-9, 10-12, and 13-18): Dancers, using ballet and jazz movement, feel powerful and inspired while expressing the lyrics of emotional and heart-felt songs. Teacher approval required for Level II.
MUSICAL IMPROV (for ages 12-18): Improv actors learn song structure, rhyme schemes, and singing through lines in short form musical improv games with first, pre-existing song structures, and eventually, alongside improvised accompaniment.
CLASSES WITH EXTENDED CLASS TIME Acting for Camera and Improv Team classes will now run 1.5 hours in length to maximize creative work time. Both classes require teacher approval.

CLASSES LISTED BY AGE & DISCIPLINE STUDIO POLICIES
PAYMENT POLICIES • Class tuition is based on a 10-month season,
with payments due on the first of every month, September-June.
• Payments are AutoCharged on the first of each month; a credit card must be on file with Stagelight Performing Arts.
• Invoices will not be sent prior to AutoCharge; a signed Authorization Form must remain on file at the studio.
• A late fee of $20 will be assessed on the 11th of the month if payment is not posted by the 10th.
• Registration and tuition are non-refundable.• Registration fee is paid each season at time of
enrollment.• To drop a class/classes and stop AutoCharge,
a Drop Form must be submitted by the 15th of the month to avoid being charged the next month’s tuition.
• Missed classes cannot be used as “credits” toward tuition.
• Private vocal lesson students who need to purchase a song during a lesson will be charged the cost of the song.
MAKEUP CLASS POLICY• Makeups are permitted when a student misses
a class in which he/she is enrolled.• Makeups expire one month after missed class.• Students must be enrolled in at least one class
to use makeups.• Class makeups may not be used toward private
lessons.
BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS• Respect yourself, your classmates, teachers and
staff. Avoid gossip.• All social media posts involving Stagelight
Performing Arts must be positive in nature. Negative or inappropriate posts will be reported.
• Group classes are 55 minutes in length, unless otherwise noted on the schedule. If less than 4 students are in attendance, the class will run 45 min. Private lessons are 30 min. or 1 hour.
• Classes must have a minimum of 4 students enrolled (not present) to be open during the season.
• A student’s age must fall within the class age range to be enrolled in the class (6-month grace period allowed with instructor approval). Level II & level III classes require audition or teacher recommendation and placement.
• Private lessons will be AutoCharged on the 1st of each month. No refunds on private lesson payments.
• Private lessons must be cancelled with 24-hour notice for credit to be used toward future lessons.
• When a private lesson instructor is sick, a qualified substitute will be provided. Private lessons with a substitute cannot be cancelled for credit.
DRESS CODE• We are a conservative studio. No bare
midriffs.• Acting, Vocal and Musical Theatre class:
Students should wear dance/workout wear that allows for full range of motion in movement.
• Ballet ages 7+: Assigned Stagelight leotard according to level, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. A color-specific ballet skirt is optional. Hair in secure bun.
• All other Dance classes: dance/workout wear (no denim) and proper shoes (jazz or tap shoes).
• Hair securely out of face for all movement classes.
• Students are not permitted to take class out of dress code. Loaner biketards are available for a $5 rental fee for students who forget their leotards.

The student/participant does voluntarily participate in any and all Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, activities, and the student/participant and I understand that certain risks are inherent to and from participation and involvement with Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, and in its various formal and informal activities. These activities include but are not limited to Dance, Acting, and Singing. Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, is not responsible for any lost or stolen property, at any time. Anyone found to be violating any of the rules, codes of conduct, or found to be disruptive to either another individual or group may be asked to leave the premises at any time and be refused reentrance without any full or partial refund.
Medical ReleaseAs the parent/legal guardian of the student/participant named below, I request and authorize that in my absence the student/participant named below be admitted to any hospital or medical facility for diagnosis and treatment. I request and authorize physicians, dentists, and staff, duly licensed as Doctors of Medicine/Osteopathy or Doctors of Dentistry or other such licensed technicians or nurses, to perform any diagnostic procedures, treatment procedures, operative procedures and x-ray treatment of the student/participant named below. I have not been given any guarantee as to the results of examination or treatment. I hereby authorize Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, its owners, members, Board of Directors, and all employees and agents of these parties to act for the student/participant named below according to their best judgment in providing or arranging for emergency care in any emergency circumstance requiring medical attention. I authorize the hospital, medical or care facility to dispose of any specimen or tissue during the course of any diagnosis, treatment or other normal and customary procedures.
Photo ReleaseI hereby understand and am fully aware that the student/participant named below may be participating in Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, activities in which I and/or the student/participant named below may be photographed or videotaped (the Property) from time to time. I hereby irrevocably grant to Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, perpetually, exclusively, and for all media throughout the world (including print, non theatrical, home video, CD-ROM, internet and any other electronic medium presently in existence or invented in the future), the right to use and incorporate (alone or together with other materials), in whole or in part, photographs, sound bites or video footage taken as a result of participation in Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, activities. I hereby agree that I will not bring or consent to others bringing claim or action against Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, on the grounds that anything contained in the Property, or in the advertising and publicity used in connection herewith, is defamatory, reflects adversely on me or the student/participant named below, violates any other right whatsoever, including, without limitation, rights of privacy and publicity. I hereby release Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, its owners, members, Board of Directors, and all employees and agents of these parties from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, suits, costs, expenses, liabilities, and damages whatsoever that I may hereafter have against Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, in connection with the Property. This agreement shall not obligate Stagelight Performing Arts, LLC, to use the Property or to use any of the rights granted hereunder, or to prepare, produce, exhibit, distribute or exploit the Property.
