Work principleArchitecture of StaffCop Enterprise is built upon client-server implementation, and uses secured connectionto the server. Work in any network structures, that provide client-server connection, is supported: via VPN, NATand other communication channels. That is why StaffCop Enterprise v. 3.1. can be connectedto remote workstations that is not part of your enterprise local network.

The server part should be installed on Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS on physical, virtual machine,or on dedicated server. The agent (endpoint module) is a system service, launched on employee workstations.It aggregates all necessary data and transfers it to the server.

You can install the agents on workstations either manually, or using mass installation via remote installation utility,or using group policies, reducing time, spent on installation process, to minimum.

Offline mode is another feature of StaffCop Eneterprise v.3.1 enabling the program to monitor remoteemployees in convenient way. When offline mode is enabled, client data is accumulated on workstation. When connection with the server is established, it is transferred to the server without any losses. This functionprovides constant control over employees, who access Internet through temporary communication channels:mobile 3G/4G modems, open public Wi-Fi connections, etc.

Activation key. After purchasing StaffCop Enterprise, the user should activate StaffCop licensesvia admin panel by entering Activation key issued by Licensor during the purchase of licenses.The Activation key can be used just once. After the licenses are activated, the Activation key is blocked.In case when additional activations are required, the user should contact Licensor and provideinformation about the reasons for additional activation. Licensor must consider this requestand decide whether a new Activation key for the licenses can be additionally issued free of chargeor for additional fee.

One standard StaffCop Enterprise software license (one license for one workstation)Standard license.gives the user the right to install and use the agent module (endpoint module) on a single workstation,the license binding is made to hardware ID. The number of installations on the same workstation(i.e. workstation with the same hardware ID) is not limited.

Workstation’s Hardware ID can be changed when workstation hardware is replacedNote: or if OS Windows is replaced on monitored workstation. In this case, another standard licensewith new Activation key have to be issued.

One competitive StaffCop Enterprise software license (one license for oneCompetitive license. workstation) gives the user the right to install and use the agent module (endpoint module) on a singleworkstation, the license binding is made to hardware ID.
