Larry Zgoda StudioChicago, Illinois

Stainless GlassStainless Glass, a concept first forged by Larry Zgoda in 1981, is an approach to stained glass with little

or no color. The model eventually expanded to include composition in which line, pattern and texturearticulate the visual statement. Larry Zgoda imagines Stainless Glass as a boulevard, which bridges the

timelessness of stained glass with the modernity of stainless steel. The above work, created for aChicago artist’s studio, incorporates many of Zgoda’s signature elements, including bevels, iridescent

glass, cut-polished jewels and an ornamental iron armature. www.larryzgodastudio.com.
