TRANSCRIPT
In an effort to better serve his customers, Paul Paige, sales manager at Diana Pet Food, participated in the IGP–KSU Pet Food Formulation for Commercial Production course.
Paige works with smaller startup pet food companies
that are looking for direction on how to formulate and increase palatability in their formulas.
“This course gave me a first-hand knowledge base of what my customers are going through, so I’m able to assist more in the process and then recommend the best products for them to succeed,” Paige says.
Paige’s favorite part of the course was the hands-on experience and being able to implement the in-class information.
“There’s a lot of tidbits that I’ve learned throughout the week that have been very beneficial as far as guaranteed analysis and how that formulates into the actual palatability of what we sell to our customers,” Paige says.
