First, I would give all the students an opportunity to tell me everything they know about technology. I will have them give me examples about what they know about technology

Next, I will have the students watch a movie about how technology is used and have them write definitions about the terminology.

Finally, I will have students do exercises about technology. This way they can have a better understanding about the movie they just saw.

The next day I will have the students write what is the definition of a voki, email, power-point, internet, and a word document is?

For the classwork assignment I will have the students do a technology exercise on the computer. I will put the students in groups of 4 so every student will have the opportunity to do the exercise. They will have to write a short autobiography about a famous African American inventor on power point and when they are done they will have to email it to me. This will show me they know how to look up information and put their information on power point and email it to me. I will be there to help the students if they need any kind of help.

For the homework assignment I will have the students do a voki on their autobiography they did for their classwork assignment and save it to present to the class.

For the test assignment I will give the students a test for everything they did in class. I will give the student 30 minutes to do everything. They will have to write a biography about themselves, send it to me through e-mail, and do a voki about it. This process will be done in the computer lab so that all the students can do the test at once.
